    Advice: Don't drive around. Sit with windows open if possible. Don't drive fast. Keep track of mileage, insurance cost, gas cost, car payment (if you have one), and possible maintenance (worst case scenario kind of repair). Once you accept an order don't leave the restaurant. People do this and waste a lot of time and money bc the restaurant isn't fast enough...don't get locked into emotions. Also look presentable. This is huge and let the customer know those extra napkins, utensils, etc. you put in their bag (if there is a bag that is open). Don't ever go to McDonalds when only drive-thru is open. Make it a goal to get the most money per mile per time spent.

    Wow! that was very surprising that you get more in tips vs Uber's actual pay--I did not expect the ratio to be that crazy. Thank you for the video! very informative on this side hustle

    no one should ever accept an order below $6. its not worth it. you can get some higher paying offers, so its better to wait for those.

    You didn’t factor in depreciation on vehicle and long term maintenance cost for the miles you drove. And technically you should have special car insurance on your vehicle if doing any kind of deliveries or ride share. These factors really drive down the bottom line of “gig workers”.

    • @zacharykeith7220
      @zacharykeith7220 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think pointing out depreciation of the car is kind of needless. Everyone’s car loses well over half the value once you drive off the lot. It’s not like it’s an asset you’re expecting to appreciate.

    • @LvPokeHer
      @LvPokeHer ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@zacharykeith7220 “well over half the value” is wild exaggeration. It would be more like 5% on a new car. Deprecation is a huge factor whenever you use your vehicle for working purposes. Hence the reason you get a tax write off for car deprecation. Nothing depreciates a car value more than adding mileage to it.

    • @zacharykeith7220
      @zacharykeith7220 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LvPokeHer regardless, it isn’t like you should view a car as a good store of value in any sense. If anything, the tax write off is a benefit not a downside.

    • @LvPokeHer
      @LvPokeHer ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zacharykeith7220 WOW. You are really clueless!! Say your car has a value of 30k sellable price on January 1st with 10k miles on the car. On December 31st if you average driving 2k miles a month on deliveries/rideshare alone not counting the normal miles you put in the car for normal life things. With the extra 24k miles you put on the car from deliveries/rideshare the care value would easily drop from 30k to 20k if you’re lucky and had you driven only the normal average of 10k miles in that year the car value would drop the normal amount of industry standard 10% so car would be worth 27k opposed to 20k. So that’s a cost of 7k for a year just for using car for work. That’s over $583 expense per month using a vehicle for deliveries. I understand you don’t think that’s significant. But like I said you’re obviously CLUELESS on this subject!! So keep arguing facts.

      Most orders are leave at the door. I know because I have been doing Uber Eats and DoorDash for almost 2 years. Also, you have an idea what you are going to make before you take the order because it tells you. It has nothing to do with race. Smh....
