Fanfiction gets a bad rep from the amount of nsfw shit everywhere in it, but thats sort of the loud majority fo fanfiction. Theres a ton of amazing (and non nsfw) fanfiction out there that rivals or surpasses its original canon
Basically, if the canon has potential, there will be a ton of fanfiction of it

Small headcanon/theory: This happens after the events of the Pikmin 2 extinction/0 treasure timeline. Olimar developed his philosophies after his wife ditched him for Ricardo, and his genocidal nature carried into his dating advice of eliminating the competition. Olimar, instead of using the 10,000 pokos to repay the debt, instead used it for himself to forge Olimar Enterprises, thus leaving his former company in shambles and the President buried in a shallow grave by debt collectors.
Nah Olimar would never do that, he would hide the President's corpse up in that treehouse where he was hiding

I always assumed the reason they were called winged and rock pikmin was because they were discovered by a different set of explorers with a different naming scheme, but then, Olimar did canonically find them first so 🤔
That is a good theory. In my extinction run of pikmin 3 I was going to have alph name the red pikmin something else (Craig) but have olimar interrupt him in a data file saying he would cut him if he called them anything other than Wilson, Abdul, and Skipper.

4:15 its very much possible to do “extinction challenge” and zero fruits. there are plenty of partial fruits to give you around 10 days of time and you can 1 day every area even formidable oak.
That is true but for this run I really wanted to get as little fruit as possible.

Sounds like a lazy procrastinator challenge. How about trying to beat the game but you can only start playing once you hear the 10 second hurry bell. Honestly, I kind of want to see if that's possible

@@egg_ox I have farmed in pikmin 2. Every day after school I would boot it up and chill out with a little farming. I believe my red population was around 22000. It just keeps going...

@@egg_ox I'm not sure what the limit is in pikmin 1. I don't think 30 days is enough to reach whatever number limit they have (if there is any). But that would be interesting too. To see what is the max number of pikmin you can make in 30 days. Even if you just ignore all the ship parts
