Yippi! Your honey hole paid off again . Nothing better than a road cut that keeps on giving. Great job. Be careful out there. Keep the fun coming. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒

That's so so beautiful, thank you for uploading this and going out and finding em!
What's even more amazing is the cephalopod and bryos were likely nice and cozy while the ceph was alive. If you check out Baird and Brett (1989) and Wyse Jackson and Key (2014) they have a lot of details on why - the orientation of the little bumps on the colonies, and the fact that they're usually covering the full circumference when the exterior shell is all preserved (Also I've seen videos of living nautilus with bryos growing on them). It honestly took me while to convince myself of it, but most fossil ceph workers affirm this. This is so wonderful though! This video is epic.

Such cool finds those were! That bryozoan over the cephalopod was wild! How many years does it take for a bryozoan to get that big? And to form over the top of a cephalopod! Its like a pseudomorph! So cool and you found it in all those fragments of rock! great day! I also liked the huge long crinoid stem! That was a super cool roadcut and a killer end stop! Totally awesome finds!

Hello I'm a fellow fossil hunter and I live about 40 min north in a town called Peebles Ohio. There is a creek that spans our county from north to south. It's a great place to hunt. Just sayin

Oh hey, I've been through Peebles before! I'll have to see if I can check out that creek at some point. Thanks for the recommendation!
