I’m waiting for that Saturn pro extended release hopefully. I got the nacho customs version of the Saturn and the custom print changed the surface just enough to where i want the normal surface back. Hopefully that comes soon enough
using the venus pro for CSGO and valorant now and i am having a blast. i use a viper v2 pro with corepad skates and it's just the right amount of friction for me. not sure if the xsoft has a lot to do with it, but flicking on targets feels effortless now.
I want to get one of these pads, but the shipping costs makes it stupid expensive. I ordered an Artisan, being sent from Japan - for the cost of these pads before $40 shipping on top.
Ive tried all 3, Otsu, Venus Pro, and the Saturn Pro. My favorite is still the Hyate Otsu. The squishiness of the Otsu is just too nice, though id say the Venus Pro is my next favorite
I got a Venus PRO over a week ago and holy shit it‘s so sexy. The stitching is BELOW the surface and I haven’t seen any fraying. Would 100% recommend so far.
hey brandon what arm sleeve do you use? all the ones ive tried have inconsistent vertical vs horizontal friction. i use an artisan zero and a lgg venus
@@BTaesthetics thanks! i actually watched your video on sleeves and ended up getting that one. it's a bit rough on my venus, but my saturn came in yesterday and it feels amazing!
I currently have a razer strider mouse pad and love it. Is Saturn or Venus closer to the razer strider mouse pad? Always looking to try new mouse pads out.
Wait so is the new Venus pro faster than the original? That list has the Venus pro as being faster than the Hayate Otsu, but my OG Venus is noticeably slower than even an xsoft otsu
The Venus pro would actually be slower than the OG due to the xsoft base. You’re correct. I feel as if I have more control with the LGG mercury than I do the otsu, personally. The differences between the Saturn and Venus are minuscule with the Saturn having slightly less static friction, but slightly higher dynamic friction. They’re both excellent hybrid pads.
@@whendex3894 also there’s a huge difference between Saturn and Venus? I have both they aren’t even comparable. One is rough and fast the other is soft and slow

I have the original lgg saturn (not the pro) and it's the best $30 I've ever spent. Paired with tiger ice skates on my gpx superlight it feels smooth/fast yet very controllable for flicks and micro adjustments at the same time. It flattened out perfectly on my desk when opening and has the same feel today as it did a year ago. Price to performance you can't go wrong, highly recommended!
Which one is the best for CS:GO? I mainly play CS:GO, but also RDR2, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, CoD and The Witcher 3. I currently have Artisan FX Zero Soft XL, but it feels worn out. It's gets dirty quite easy now, and hair gets stuck in there quite easy as well. I've had it since October 2021.
@@TeNou7 so I made two orders but separately. The 1st one in red but in 500x500 size, tried it out, but it was too big for my desk. this one has a different base which gives you more control over the original. I prefer this one but the surface is still good on the normal version. hope this helps!
Haven't seen a BT video pop in my feed in a while. Any recommendations for someone who swears by the Zowie GSR? I'm looking for something very similar but a bit bigger than what they offer.

Got Both Venus and Saturn Pro, I still prefer my Otsu. My Raiden 2.0 is comin in this week, curious to see if it’ll replace my Otsu. But if I want that friction def will be swapping it out for my Saturn pro.
I don't get this saying at all, not "understanding" why artisan chose to stop working with LGG. mousepads are still generic af in terms of producing/manufacturing. LGG made a cheaper clone of artisan pads while stocking artisans themselves, obviously artisan would choose to stop working with LGG. stop trying so hard to steer the narrative into "these mousepads are so good that artisan broke up with LGG" lol
Artisan knew LGG were making these pads and said there was no problem staying partnered. It wasn't until after reviews on youtube started dropping about the LGG pads that Artisan pulled a 180 on that opinion and canceled their partnership. So the narrative you are selling that it was obvious Artisan would no longer sell on LGG is bogus, considering Artisan themselves didn't even know what they were doing.
interesting, so you're saying LGG informed artisan that they were making clones of their mousepads or LGG were making their own mousepads? that LGG invited artisan to tour their factories that make the pads? lol also I have the venus, zero, otsu. All great products, LGG definitely did a really good job bringing artisans to NA at a good price, and then did a really fine job with the LGG pads. All I'm saying is the "artisan throwing a fit" narrative never made much sense to me.
@@staypuft2360 Not quite. LGG didn't tell them they were using an xsoft Poron base. When you combine it with the flat packaging, below the surface stitching etc, Artisan just felt it was too close for comfort and now they're looking to get a different US retailer to carry their pads. It's a business move.

I think artisan just see it as disrespectful to be copying so much from products they(LGG) are selling.
Sure, but I mean they're aware they're another business. Competition is a thing and also, it's not like they signed a contract or anything.
@@limmel3588 thats why its perfectly logical that they'd pull their stuff off the site
