I need a mousepad for tracking games like Fortnite and Apex Legends and currently have the QCK. Right now, only the Saturn Pro has soft and XSoft versions, while the Venus Pro has only XSoft right now, and the Venus Pro is available for purchase right now while the Saturn Pro is available only for Pre-Order now and shipping will be available from late June. So therefore, which one of them and which softness will be the best for my needs? From available standpoint, the Venus Pro would be a better pick for me, but what do you think?
If you're picking between Saturn Pro and Venus Pro for Fortnite and Apex, Venus Pro is definitely the no-brainer answer. There is no doubt in my mind this is the better pick. However, I also do highly recommend Artisan Hayate Otsu XSoft it you can afford that, otherwise if you want to look into cheaper options than all of these, Spyre Loque is the king of value and also will be perfect for your use case. If anything I'd like to believe both Otsu and Loque are better choices if those are the two games you play exclusively. Loque is definitely not as premium as the other two here but in-game performance is not inferior in any way.
@@its_yifang I need it to work well with a bit sensitive skin and I’m leaning toward LGG Pro or Artisan, so which pad would you pick between them and is it worth to wait for a soft version of Saturn Pro which would be faster and fast as the Venus Pro according to LGG themselves, or buy now the Venus Pro Xsoft? (Mainly for Fortnite and Apex mainly with 1600 dpi 3.3 x&y sensitivity in-game with th Logitech GPX mouse for reference).
@@satxrn21 I'll give you two lists here. Performance for your use case : Hayate Otsu > Spyre Loque > Venus Pro/Lamzu Energon >>> Saturn Pro (Saturn is not worth considering at all for you). Skin : Lamzu Energon >> Otsu > Venus Pro > Spyre Loque Overall rating : Otsu/Energon > Venus Pro > Spyre Loque >>> Saturn Pro. Get yourself a Lamzu Energon or Artisan Hayate Otsu, I'm still leaning more towards the Otsu though!
Hey, do you think if I am a Valorant player getting a Hien would be a good move? I want to lower my relatively mid sens 0.3 800 dpi and mix it with a faster pad that still offers good control like a hien does.
i've been maining razer goliathus speed for 10 years, but looking into getting either a LGG or artisan. play mostly pubg. these pads being labeled as "control" scares me since i absolutely hate razers control pad and the texture of it. also hate squishy/mud pads. any recommendations?
Modern control pads are generally medium speed, meaning they're not truly slow or truly fast. You can get a squishy pad that doesn't feel muddy at all, you could also get a mud pad that isn't squishy so that doesn't really make a difference here, squishy and mud are two separate aspects to look at. If you aren't scared of being on a faster side of things, the Pulsar ES2 and Puretrak P-51 Mustang are probably perfect for what you would like. If not, Artisan Zero Mid would be your option, as much as I think LGG Saturn Pro is just an all round direct upgrade now. However, Saturn Pro only has soft and xsoft which may feel a bit squishy for you... None of these pads will ever feel muddy however.
@@its_yifang thank you for the answer. My friend has a zero soft i can test so ill check if its too squishy or not. Might consider a saturn pro if it feels okay. Do you think something like the Otsu mid would be too textured? Based on reviews it sounds like my kind of thing but im afraid the surface feels rough
Do you have any experience of whether the Tiger Ice mouse feet might be too fast in combination with the venus pro? I currently have a saturn and have corepads installed because of my original mouse skates on my Finalmouse SL pro were worn out. Stock feet + saturn felt awesome for me, but corepads + saturn feels really awfull. Feels like my mouse is "stuck in the mud" when trying to micro-adjust or track (I play fortnite mainly). I'm waiting for my Tiger Ice feet order to arrive. If the movement is not fast enough on the static friction, I might consider switching to the venus or get superglides instead.
@@its_yifang what are your opinions on the superglide 2/ lgg venus pro combination? Curious to get your opinion since Im waiting for my set of superglide 2s to arrive.
@@AuuGainz I don't like the superglide glass skates at all tbh, should work alright on venus but I think venus in the grand scheme of things isnt one of the best performing pads either. It's good, but not one of the best.
