Nice shave. You are right that any razor can give a good result. It's just that some require a lot more strokes. The more strokes it takes, the more likely the burn. There are exceptions though. I have to work harder to get a BBS shave with my Henson+, but the skin doesn't seem to pay a price.
I have been binge watching your videos Jim cos I need to know how to do this for my other half who is weak with lung cancer. He trusts me with a razor on his face but not with hair clippers to shave off that 'airy rug ffs! 🤣
I'm sorry to hear about your husband, very sad. Clippers do have a nasty habit of nipping the skin. Regularly wet shaving would remove the need to use Clippers. He will feel pampered
@JimWillShave excellent! Then I'll re watch some again as I think I know why you have to wet the face, I was going to go straight into putting the foam on his face and then shave! Will write some stuff down for me to do it. I'll subscribe to you for more info. Thanks jim.
Thank you for your kind words Jim. I've tried it and he laughed cos he said I looked as I was performing a major op on him with me doing it delicately. Took about an hour cos he wouldn't stop laughing 🤣@JimWillShave
Nice one buddy, thanks for the mention. I find with the head blade Moto razor if you just push it backwards and forward without lifting the razor off your head it gives a great shave. Atb Paul
Jim, that razor appeared to be a very safe choice. I over shave with mild razors which causes razor burn or shaving rash. I don't shave much these days with DE razors, I find straights much better and I get almost no irritation. What's that black animal tattooed on your chest, is it a cat?
@JimWillShave I find you get a closer shave with a straight. It just takes more pre' and post shave time, stropping etc. But I have the time these days since I retired. I can remember saying that you were going to cover the old tattoo, I said get it removed if you remember.
Great shave Jim. Looks like you are enjoying your holiday with Bev.
Cheers Garry.
Wish we were still there ❤xx
Me too xx
Nice traveling shave Jim👌 Personally I didn't like the way the Tritok DE shaved with thw flat blade presentation but YMMV as they say.👌🤠👌
Thanks Lawrie. It is a tad peculiar, the blade format.
When I first bought the razor, they expected it to be similar to the Razorine Flatboy. But no
Nice shave Jim.👍😎It is veterans day here. I know you're a veteran. Thank you for your service. 💂
Thank you Mark

I've noticed the same thing with the Henson. Super smooth

(yes, I'm a woman loose with a razor!)

@Dontgiveafeck thank you. Yes, wet the face with warm water, in order to soften the bristles.

Cheers Paul. That's the way I do it now Paul. It felt a tad awkward at first. But now I use it in the shower
Cheers

Thanks Dave. I love my straights and shavettes.
The tattoo is a black panther. It's a 'cover up!'
Hiding an ex's name.

@davec1768 I remember yes. It was going to take months though.
Anyone else getting conversations in the background when’s Jim’s not talking ? Very strange
That will either be the TV, or people walking past my hotel room. 😃
