As soon as he walked out the room I knew what time it was 😂
🚥😂 Bro that’s one big arse studio apartment …haters gonna hate Alex… this S197 is gonna be a great build series 😎👍🏽
This channels Is becoming the sole place for learning what Coyotes do, how they think, and breathe, and time
i just got one and ts is so good
Has been for years haha
@@toljo433 behalf of everyone that has been learning, again no other natural source exists in TH-cam, thank you

I can’t wait to do
My 13-14 premium cluster swap
lol was about to comment about you walking around your studio apartment when you called it out. I’m oddly jealous that you came up with this idea for content. Not a lot of people are doing this ‘educationally’ on the internet. Kudos for having the vision to be able to call this ‘work’.
😂😂😂 man as soon as Alex started walking around in the apartment I knew what he was doing 😂😂 💀
This s197 series made me not sell mine, i appreciate it tio !
That 1.1 is crazy 😂
Lmao!! The video starts off with a nonchalant tour of the apartment… now that’s production value 😂
As always thank you for this video. Very informative. My 2013 Mustang GT with the Track Pack is bone stock. I live in California and all we have is 91 Octane. KEEP ON ROCKING!
Alex the goat of mustang content. It’s nice to watch when an adult and professional is bringing real world content. F*** anyone who says otherwise. Do you Alex!
" ALEX, YOU'RE TELLING ME I HAVE TO FILL UP MY SPORTSCAR WITH BETTER FUEL TO MAKE THE ENGINE LIVE LONGER AND MAKE MORE POWER?!!"
I swear those kind of people DESERVE what will happen to them with other "TOONERS"☠️🤣
Inconceivable.
My m550 TT requires 93, I run 87 from the hadji mart, what could go wrong lol
It amazes me people don't run proper fuel. I run 93e0 the mpg I gain offsets the cost difference. My mustang gets the same. Idk why people pay no attention to fuel.
Goated mustang generation
Can’t wait to see what this car does with a cold air and potentially a boss….looking to do the same set up…appreciate the knowledge and videos tio 👏🏽
Lmao I had a feeling when you were walking around you where up to something 😂😂😂
Man that is the most unbelievable 1. 1. Ive ever seen 😂 it just seems to keep going!
So hyped for this series. I have the exact same car but in black. Gonna take care of my 5.0 even better now 😂
Nice very nice video for sure you will have a bunch of followers for sure specialy me 😂 continue the good job
Great video. Data…tells the story…thanks Alex…
Wait, the car didn’t come with two free bottles of octanium to reduce knock. 😂
Very nice! 🇺🇸
Lol the walk around was hilarious 😂 good job
Wow, the 6r is really different from 10r, changes the way the car responds and drives a lot!
Wow, the 6r is ALOT BETTER THAN the 10r, changes the way the car responds and drives alot!!
There fixed that for you lol
@@midnight347 I’d say stock for stock on stock tune the 10r is funner and faster 🤙🏻 I have a raptor with the 6r and a coyote truck with the 10r. Both are good. Equal downsides to both, purely racing or drag go with the 6r. That being said I’ve had both do fuckey things on me under stock conditions
This video answers a question that I have seen alot of people ask. "Does 93 make a difference compared to other pump gas?" Basically is 93 worth it. Good info.
Do you have any clue how many idiots run 87 in their 5.0s and ecoboosts just because "Ford says its ok" lol. Blows my ever loving mind. If you can't afford 93 octane gas you bought the wrong car.
@@midnight347my daily is a stock '11 5.0 coupe that rarely sees WOT I use 87😁
My v3 drives like a v6 on 87 and sounds like a taurus Taurus. I have have to use
93/91 makes the car pull
Harder and I’m not tuned
Great information as always, someone is gonna watch this and regurgitate on a podcast now. 😁
Appreciate your content tio 👌🏽
Love these vids man i got a 2011 GT and previous owner was putting 87 so i am also till i get some mods and tune it then ill do 93
Just because the previous owner was stupid don't mean you should be. Put good fuel in the car man. Come on dude.
hahahaah.. I knew that's what your were doing before you started talking about your rooms. Nice
Damn had no idea 1 bed apartments where so big lol
All that thing needs is tint and a tune! 😂 i love it, great video, Alex!
Thanks for the info.
We appreciate the info you show and prove. your not just a are you buying something or not kind of service
Nobody else on TH-cam would go out and buy a 10+ year old car just to teach us . Great stuff Alex!
The noobs need to hear this shit. Those of us who been in the game a long time already know this stuff. Most of us anyways lol. Its interesting seeing exactly how it effects it in real time with data logs though.
I wonder if gen 2 f150 can have the same effect on fuel sensitivity as mustang does. Heavier vehicle at lower rpm should see more load right?
Yea it "should" be similar
@@YDBT4LIFE good to know, thank you for the knowledge and content sir
I think you hit the nail on the head when you compared these S197s to the Fox bodies. A future classic for sure.
When u was walking through the house, I knew exactly what u was doing 😂😂
Dude is really the only person who's made me want a damn mustang. I just can't let go of my SS tho 😅
Props. Great video.
This is very valuable content, thank you
It done.
Good stuff. I’m gonna need a good look at a data log soon when I switch to e85.
That's a good looking car. I like the s197. I have friends that don't believe me about using good gas. What do you think of a little booststang?
Man, you can't put a price on valuable information like this! Awesome video!
We here
These types of videos are awesome Alex. Alex becoming the new car mythbusters. Now do another video like this with the ZR1.
Admittedly I put 87 in my 14gt when I bought the car (first car) because that’s what the dealer told me and the manual recommended. After finding your channel I switched to 93. Although I can’t really feel a difference, I know it keeps the car happy. Great video Alex!
Blows me away the manual recommends 87? Why? Why would the dealer recommend that? That really blows me away. Basically the only reason you can even run 87 without blowing up your motor is because the knock sensors come in pull the hell out of timing to save your ass because you put terrible fuel in your high revving 11:1 coyote. There is no way I'd run 87 in these cars or an ecoboost.
If you rip it hard you'll tell a difference. Then again no offense but since you're new at this you probably aren't as sensitive to noticing the changes. Especially 5-7k rpm. That is where it's gonna be pulling the hell out of timing on 87. I assure you there is a big difference.
@@midnight347 no offense taken at all, it was only about a year or so when I bought it to commute to work and school. I never modified the engine just suspension mods and never ragged the car out, kept up with oil changes regularly etc.
Also the dealer filled mine up with 87 just like Alex’s dealer did. For about the first year my car was under 2k rpm on the highway 40 miles a day. I never had any issues from the car after 5years and 70k miles.
Since Alex started this series I was planning to mirror his mods and get tuned by Lund. I always look out for comments that give some more info so thank you for replying.
@@anthonyriestra848 hope youre enjoying the car ! One thing ive noticed is that 93 doesnt make a difference on stock tune compared to 91octane. And you might see better MPG with 91 over 87.
Said it before, such a beautiful car. I'm biased as I have an S197 coyote.
Been running 93 a long time, Never using anything less!!!
That ain’t no one bedroom 😂
s197 ftw ... id jump into one. You gotta take a ride past papi trumps place.
Next time
Haters out there don't know the definition of a "Studio Apartment" 😂😂 sheesh I'd love to live in one in Palm Beach. Also a hater Destination.
Cracks me up people talk about your living space. Friend of mine lived in Tampa for few years. He had a sweet ass apartment. I didn’t buy my house until my 30’s, no big deal.
People worry too much about what others are doing and what others thing etc. Nobody thinks or lives for themselves anymore.
Damn so many rooms and hallways in that 1 bedroom apartment in the slums
I wondered how quickly does the knock sensor reacts to timing, if you add octane boooster your car fuel how long would it take would take for a sensors pick it up s550
There is latency it's not instant
I think that the GM and the Chrysler have a sensor that is telling them current octane fuel, coyote gotta rely on a spark sensors, learned from you
Love the apt tour lol, and also love the drive thru clematis gave vlog vibes
Haha you knew that apt tour was coming.. also Avocado grill downtown, real good!
Very good informative video !!!!! Keep at it Alex !!
Love the s197 series, got a 2013 as well and Im looking forward to the rest of the videos and progression of the car.
You’re the man Alex ! The knowledge you put out! I’m all ears brother ❤
What a great video. Thanks for the information. I have learned a lot from your channel.
Great video Alex . Been following a long time . I’ll never forget your svt cobra whine . 😂
Im learning from you thank you keep up these types of videos
Me and the 499 others love the content
Nice looking Mustang Alex!
Shesh playa! That’s a nice place you got💪🏼💯
Awesome content Alex 👍
What about just normal cars? Like my 03 Corolla or the 6.2L in my f250? Would I see any gains running 93? I run the best gas anyways but it’s nice knowing it’s not a waste of money.
Can we get the software to view our own logs or that’s only available for tuners?
I paid the same price for 87 here in California 😢yesterday lol….
I thought 93 up here in southeast Georgia was rediculous....that's almost a full dollar more per gallon!
I paid $3.99 for 93 in NC today.
$3.23 at Costco in Iowa City
thats a nice 1 bedroom lol
Bruh! That disco ball.is 🔥🔥🔥
I use blue as well on the interiorlights . However, on the halos I use the ice blue so it doesn't all run together 😎👍
Love the good long informative videos
Love the night vibe in downtown, I want to live in Florida. It's cold gray in Delaware.
Good video Alex!
I am looking forward to this series
$4.89 for 93 sounds bad ass, in Cali I’m paying $5.10 for 91
Downtown looks sick
Great intro 😂
loving this content
Camshaft Degrees to octane ratio
I want a s197 that’s not ragged out . Hard to find
There are plenty of nice s197 5.0s. These cars aren't rare at all. Not hard to find.
$4/gallon for 87....sheeeeesh
You guys have it good down south, here in Canada its around 6$/gal for 87oct
I want one of these cars so bad, but I'm in too deep into the current Coyote swap project. If I could manage to turn an 05 Mustang into a Plaid killer, I'd be happy.
Wait why does it look like a maze in there?!?
As you dont know the history of vehicle , i think trans maintenance would be high on my list , fluid filter ect
So if you ran the tank down to empty (nearly down) before putting 93 in,do you think the #s would be even better?
Great video. Now the die hard 87 octane users will understand why you should run better octane fuel.
I can't beleive these idiots actually run 87 smh. Ford advertises that it's ok is why. I think that's bs. They do that because dumbass people won't buy the car if it requires 93. They'll pay 10k more for the performance oriented modem but God forbid you pay for 93 octane fuel lol. You're not even getting the power you paid for on 87 not to mention the car isn't gonna be happy at WOT.
A great experiment you could run is comparing a stock airbox flat K&N air filter to a new paper air filter to show how dramatically the K&N will alter fuel trims. I did it my car and the difference is 6-15%.
I love it who puts 87 in a mustang gt even a Ecoboost
You'd be surprised how many idiots do this man. I'd never do it ever ever ever. Lots of people do. Blows me away. Pay 10k more for the performance model but can't afford 93 octane lol. Its only ok if you never got wide open and redline. Even then I don't like it but honestly if you're never gonna get on it why even have a car like this? I don't get it.
Go on the mustang subreddit, or any social media for the matter, and you'll see how many people advocate for 87 cause the manual says you can 😂
1 bed 1 bath having ahh 😂
Studio LMAO
The cruise part reminded me of the original Miami Vice tv show. Are you Tubs or Sunny?
My God that's massive for a one, one. Damn that's crazy🤔
Duffy's! Met a girl in the bathroom there once.
i learned first day i bought my 2014 gt that 87 wasnt happy i put 93 in it and the labor knock went away just like that! i wont run nothing else but 93 in my 14 gt even though it just has mbrp axle back and JLT cai gas makes a huge difference
Back in my day 87 octane with my sbf with a 750 carb ran 9 seconds quarter mile and got 50 miles to go gallon .😂 this efi stuff is the worst. Im getting a ford 7.3 godzilla and a BAMA tune deep 6 second quarter mile car. 😂pump gas for the win 87oct with the Sauce!!!
My head hurt trying to comprehend that
@@everythingautomotiveeta5839 it’s meant to be that way🤫. It’s called sarcasm 🤦♂️
