    I had depression for two years, mentally slow and dead almost, physically devastated, became a chain smoker, got ashma, 120kg bodyweight. Then I started studying about different religious philosophies and started to understand hinduism for the first time in life. Then I made up my mind, surrendered fully and started chanting Hanuman Chalisa, joined gym. Within a few days depression went away, I mean totally away, it never came back. Still chanting Hanuman Chalisa, love it with my heart and soul. Got rid of asthma, Lost 43 kgs bodyweight, I feel super energy and childlike peace 😇 I wish everyone all the very best, depression isn't real. It's an illusion. We are stronger than our depression and any dark emotions.

    I was in depression while preparing for jee advanced but I failed. I have cleared jee mains but didn't got a good rank due to which I didn't got a good college. I was in depression for almost 2 years. Suicidal thought was very common. Finally I started reading "bhagvat geeta". Read it twice for better understanding and today I am depression free. According to krishna, your can control your karm but you cannot control the result. So do your karm with your full effort without worrying about the result. This is the fundamental of karm yoga. If you feel that you are in depression then bhagvat geeta is recommended.

      @@PoonamSharma-kr6ul shayad aap involve nhi ho paa rhi ya believe nhi kr pa rhi. First 3 chapter ko acche se samjhne ki koshish kijiye. First chapter me Jo questions arjun se puche the use feel kijiye. Ye 3 chapter kaafi h depression mitane ke liye lekin apne aap ko samarpan krna padega. 1st time me mujhe kuch bhi samajh nhi aaya tha. 2nd time thoda sahi lga. Aab lagbhag 1-2 slok roj sunta hun.

      I was addicted to social media. My usage was around 11 hours every day which amounts to almost three days of whatsapp and instagram every week. That was shockingly high. My usage has come down to a maximum of two hours per day. I use a screen monitoring app to regulate it.
      *I don’t feel anxious anymore.*
      Because of my social media addiction I used to feel anxious, depressed and lost. Grass is seldom greener on the other side.

    I was in depression last year and I was feeling suicidal. I was staying in school hostel as a warden. I couldn't share may feelings with anyone. But somehow I came out of my room and went for a cup of tea at a tea stall, there, I met two young girls which were my students actually and they were wishing me good evening with pure smile on their face. Then suddenly some positive thoughts came in my mind that "if I've to see such a pure and true smile on such innocent people, I've to live my life, my burden is nothing, it's my privilege to turn it into my wealth " the reason to get over depression can be very simple sometime..

      मैं एक दिन रात के 3 बजे घर से निकल पड़ा , चलता रहा चलता रहा , फुटपाथ पे पड़े लोगों को सोते , जागते देखता रहा और उनकी दयनीय जिंदगी देखी तब पता चला इतने बुरे हालात में लोग जी रहे हैं तो हमारा दुख तो कुछ भी नहीं इनके सामने .....
      उस दिन के बाद कभी मरने का ख्याल नहीं आया

    Ways to tackle negativity in Life ;
    1] Follow a fitness regime (45min exercise) daily
    2] meditate 10 mins daily
    3] Surround yourself with the people you enjoy with....
    4] Take a proper sleep
    Who so ever is having anxiety issues , you can follow this routine! And Be happy

      You may be suffering from sevior depression.....
      First u go to psychiatrist,he/she will prescribe medicine and they arrange 4-5 session of counselling.
      In counseling doctor will talk to u and find out the root cause of ur problem.
      Medicine will help recover you but not fully bcoz if these thinking will make u depress always.
      As well as do Physical exercise and yoga and concentration daily....

    I have been through all symptoms but I recovered soon ....and my friends were very helpful and optimistic..but God grace everything is going smoothly now ...the day I started watching study IQ I have made Goal in my lyf...Happy soul😊

    I was in depression from January 2012-July 2012 and then in February 2017- October 2018.
    Had suicidal tendencies all the time.
    I am out it mentally and have regained my interests, optimism, high energy and courage, but some physical symptoms have persisted like Insomnia, Digestion problem, emptiness, and pain in body.
    Meditation and Ohm Chanting, Reading Bhagvadgeeta and Upanishads brought me out of mental darkness.
    Also I made reading Sundarkand, part of my habit, which I continue till date.
    The sensation of Bhakti revolutionised my thoughts.
    I am getting over physical issues too.

      Sir aapke pass jeevan jine ke liye laksh hain aur uss laksh ke prapti ke liye junoon toh aap uss laksh ke prapti ke hetu jeevan vyateet kar rahe ho par yaha aap jeevan ke aur pahluon ke upar dhyan nahi de rahe. Aap joh bhi kar rahe ho woh kahi ratrace to nahi kya sirf yehi jeevan. Live to love, satisfy, sacrifice, help, solvation of mind n sole. Every thing is not money n other luxury items. That makes physical life comfortable but peace of mind doesn't get satisfaction with.

      @@Nisha-pm9lf i was in a very toxic relationship. my girlfriend and my best friend were too dependable on me. they always wanted me to be there for them. i wasn't able to express my opinions to them. if i said I've got my own life and work. they will threaten me to break this relationship and friendship. but after 7 months i thought this is enough ,i called my girlfriend and said things are not working out and we agreed with each other and broke up. same for my beatt friend. i have made new friends. i have very good cousin brother to talk to. remove all toxic people from your life. its very helpful.

    Depression has no relation with age,gender,health and financial boundaries of a person,it can happen to any one and at any age and sometimes even the most successful ones fail to deal with it and even the person who is not that successful wins over it regardless of any circumstances,and there is a rare reason behind it.

      @@alkaaparna5180 I had overcome depression by continuously doing meditation but when I lost my job I was confused and shocked and I remained in trauma for 3 month. Again I had to take medication.

      Just mediate and write or record the things that is making you feel so depressed. It helped me that's why I am recommending you this. I am 15 years old and I don't know why I don't want to talk to anyone about my depression that's why I tried the idea of meditation and personal diary.
