I knew Les Taylor through a friend 30yrs ago, he is the one on the far left. This week I had a dream of him. I couldn't remember his last name. In the dream I realized God was directing me to him for some reason. I said Lord if you want me to pray for Les, give me his last name and I will know it is you. There was silence, so I went through the alphabet with no luck. Then God just gave me his last name, Taylor, but I wasn't sure if that was it. So I said Lord I am not sure that is it. He said, google it. So I opened my eyes, picked up my phone, googled it and sure enough it was Les Taylor. So I began to pray for him. This was around Aug 30, 2020. I pray he is OK and doing well. I hope my prayers prevented something. I guess I won't know till I get to heaven. I love when God uses us.
I heard them at Dolly Wood some time ago when they first entered the country music scene. I actually planned my vacation around a Ronnie Milsap concert but he canceled . My kids were young , pre teen if I remember right and tickets were only $12 adults ad $4 children. 2 things stand out during the concert. 1) They were spot on with their performance 2) My kids never moved and just looked straight ahead with their mouths open. My kids are 38 and 40 now and they are still huge Exile fans. My wife and I have somewhat different taste in music but we both like Exile. Says a lot.
Please tell me that Exile is thinking about coming to perform in Australia in Adelaide some time soon as I have just discovered that Exile has been performing for 55 years and you are still together unbelievably wonderful.
I really did love Jimmy, I believe he made Exile the band it was. They should have never kicked him out just because he was gay. That band was never the same, I had the opportunity to see them in a concert in Lexington when I was a young lady. I'm 62 now and that is still my favorite song forever...Love Jimmy R.I.P MY SEXY MAN....
They're alright and I give them credit for still playing all these years but yes you are correct Without the legendary Jimmy Stokley it is just not the same anymore We miss you Jimmy!
I miss Jimmy and I don't believe he should have been kicked out the band, now adays that would never happen, to bad that Jimmy was used as an example back then..they aren't the same without Jimmy..just my opinion...LOL JUST LIKE AN ASSHOLE EVERYONE HAS OPINION...
@Derek Post he was kicked out of the band, which caused him to drink more and he did more drugs than he did before..so as i see it that band was the cause of his death..JUST MY OPINION, LIKE AN ASSHOLE EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN OPINION...
@@Slinkygal thank you Mary, I just hate when people are not given the credit, when credit is due. I stand behind what I said that band was much better when Jimmy was alive. Living only an hour away I had many opportunities to see them in person, the first time I saw them without Jimmy was the last time I went to anything for that band.
Heard them in Gatlinburg 5/10/2019. 56 years. Still great live performance!!! Love it! The musicians in the group are as good as ever!!
