Ris: Starts talking about the 70s and escapism Me: Oh what I wouldn't do to see Queen live Ris, like a minute later: What I wouldn't do to see Queen live Me: *:o*
fun story it’s bc the boxspring wouldn’t fit up my extremely angular stairs!! this room is NOT meant to be a bedroom and it shows in so many aspects hahahah
The thing i actually love about living today is that when it comes to different decades that you love, you can just pick one and dress like it, back in those decades you basically HAD to dress like that all the time, instead of picking the one you want
Fun! I was a teenager in the 70's and did the whole records on the wall thing but had a record player and I got to see Bowie and Fleetwood Mac and then Stevie Nicks solo in concert among many others. It was a great simple time to be alive!
When you said “what I wouldn’t give to see Queen live” I instantly subscribed. And then cried because I related so much. But hey at least I have my original Queen vinyl
i am obsessed with this video. i watched this like it was an episode of my favorite show and i just loved it so much. also i totally would LOVE to feel what decades past felt like mostly because i would like to be anywhere but here.
the whole escapism thing is so me, and now I feel very represented thank you. I'm big on the 70s too, but at the moment I'm discovering the 90s and there's something about that aesthetic that screams old but I still love it so much
Hey Ris! I'll recommend you "El Angel", it's an argentinian movie based on the criminal story of Carlos Robledo Puch on the 70's I love its aesthetic, colors, characters and songs, see you
This vid is art! I understand how much planning it must have taken, but also on a personal level as a Uni student myself who is back at her home with her parents, I want the room at my parent house to be like yours! Hahah
I'm only at 7:33 but I had to stop and tell you, I grew up in the 70's. Bonnie Belle and Lip Smackers were the only designer makeup I knew. It did feel different and I would've killed to see queen live too. Not all dreams come true -- but I did see Elvis at the Houston rodeo when I was 5. Abs I remember what I wore and how it felt. Lol
your videos just have the best vibes ever, like they’re so chaotic but they relax me so much. especially the ones where you like reorganize your room and stuff. i just love your videos.
Girl, i'm so thankful for this relaxation time at 3:40 XD i know you must have had a lot of will power to even begin that cleaning and then needing bins.
7:29 when you said "Soooome..." I started to sing All star and I laughed so loud when you did too like a second later hah! Cool makeover! It's so important to make those small changes now that we are all sort of stuck in our rooms/houses isn't it
At 5:13 in the video when she was lying on the floor I didnt see her because she was curled up like a ball and it looked like a pile of clothes on the floor. It took me way to long to realise that it was a human being.
Obsessively loving things for escapism is me in a nutshell. I just wanna mention that I have coffee / tea service from the 70s from my grandma and i LOVE it
As a BIG Beatlemaniac and BIG fan of 50s, 60s and 70s I see that you made usual 70s room but i'm my opinion I think that your remade room looks more like if a modern person would made it and not make a full research on the 70s bedroom's. I'm not trying to hate on the room it's an amazing bedroom but it would be more 70s if if thid room had more things like those for example (colorful bandanas on the wall, much more groovy poster's , some vintage 60's photo's , much more playful colors on the walls like (Orange, yellow, pink, light minty green ect.), pretty white vanity, some Beatlemania things like (poster's or an autograph) and things like this. I have no hate towards you in anyway, shape or form but I think in my opinion that your room is made by a modern person and I have 60s/70s styled house bc my house is from that times but I had YEARS of learning about those beautiful decade's and I think that you went pretty great.
Love your Hello Kitty radio me older sister has one similar to it. She honestly used it so much in the Y2K that it no longer works but she still keeps it. BTW I'm a total 50s girl but love the 70s just as much. Also thanks for making me chuckle today been kind of down lately but this definitely cheered me up. Also I agree with being sad about never being able to experience decades passed as I am often sad I was born way too late for me chosen time period of the Rockin 50s. That kitty video is one of my absolute favorites. All I have to do is think of it and I'm in a better mood. A newsflash during the video was totally appropriate. Love the results of room make over.
