It's been sooo long since I actually jumped to a scary game. Most are too predictable or cliché filled. This got me every time, the timed spacing of jumpscares was perfect
omg, this is the first time I've had so much fun with a Russian horror game. The mentions of Kuplinov (letsplayer in the video) and Marmok (the one who voice we were hearing while washing dishes, also a blogger) were especially amusing. In fact, I live in an apartment, what looks almost the same as this one (I wonder if the creators of the game themselves drew all these models of basic items for a typical Russian family - a wall clock in the form of a wristwatch, a carpet on the wall with a pattern like the one on my carpet, packs of food soda, salt, condensed milk, sofa ...) Although you say that the apartment looks scary and you suppose that they are starving, in fact, the protagonist has a family of average income in Russia and an apartment perhaps even above average (I mean a two-room apartment with a huge glazed balcony, size rooms are also large, the computer looks modern enough for average family in Russia). Yeah, people in our country mostly quite poor, hah. The ending with the fact that these are all nightmares from some foreign game played by Kuplinov is also logical, because in Russia there are no legends about elves, we don’t hang socks for the New Year nights, and the New Year itself is celebrated at the end of December (and autumn in the game has just started). Moreover, all these quick drastical changes in rooms do not raise questions this way.
12:38 don’t worry Seán I got way more scared at the jump scare than you did I was shaking like I was going to die which never happens to me with jumpscares.
As someone Eastern european it's very weird. Cause on one hand they are writing in Russian but at the same time i have lived in an apartment like that. Even the graffiti are similar. It's like the game is in like a flat i can go rn and find. Also i have exactly that same cabinets. They are from the communist times but still in use.
At 12:38 when jack went through the door I felt like I jumped and almost had a heart attack with him😭 we both just laughed at ourselves for getting scared 😭
Seán has GROWN so much within the past 11 years of doing TH-cam it's NUTS! The other day I watched his VERY FIRST video which was a voice impression. He has gone from a guy who doesn't even know who he was to someone who has so much experience so much knowledge! He has created an impact on SO MANY PEOPLES LIVES and it all started with him being in his cabin. He is AMAZING! I don't even watch him for the game, I watch to see him GROW!
My god. Have I really just lived to a moment where Kuplinov Play, Marmok and jacksepticeye appear in the same video... AND Sean gives the actual "yabat' "??? I guess I might be at peace now

He's achieved the suave librarian hair style and I'm living for it.
Right?! Hot damn!
Yasssss
Its giving young Keanu Reeves vibes
and with the earring? Damn. Never knew i would like this look so much xD
He gets more handsome every year!
Куплинов и Шон в одном видео, мечты сбываются 😂
И Мармок еще ❤
Мечты сбываются :∆👍✨
I totally understood everything
@@JacobsCoffee28 lmao
The fact that Jack got so anxious about the surveillance grandma is really hilarious to me
i mean hey i'd be nervous too if i had a babushka and her pet crows staring me down.
I mean if an elderly lady is staring at me I’d be anxious too
@@b.collins2656 babushka has to be the only word i know thanks to raye and sykunno. XD
@@FabledThunderIn Poland, those elderly ladies staring at people are called "CCTV". I'm not kidding.
I was gonna leave a comment about that too! They know everything
This is actually a good horror game. The jumpscare, the atmosphere, the creepiness, all's good.
Decided to watch a random horror before sleep, realized that it's September 7th now and TH-cam recommended me this for the first time... Kinda creepy
Same thing for me lmao, its 1am for me right now.
Ominous xD
I love that Sean is in his horror era he gets so creative with it and it’s my fave type of videos from him
Damn, Jacks new look be doing things to me.
Also what a great selection of horror games we've had, these last two have been some of the best indie horrors I've seen
Literally, I saw the intro and was like "woah he looks good asf"
THAT is one of the best indie horror games? What?
@@manosheal8336 THAT is yes
@@mxbubbles4753 ok sure, personally I found it very dependant on jump scares, and the logic in the game was gone af. Good level design yes but this is not always enough.
Yeah it's not just you Sean, these jumpscares are rly awfully good
It's been sooo long since I actually jumped to a scary game. Most are too predictable or cliché filled. This got me every time, the timed spacing of jumpscares was perfect
i was so invested and partially zoned out that 12:38 genuinely got me and made me jump. Doesn't happen often. Thank you:)
SAME IVE JUMPED TWICE ALREADY
BRO I FELT A JOLT OF ELECTRICITY GO THROUGH MY WHOLE BODY WITH THAT ONE
@@taRATulaz bruh same, I jumped twice throughout this video 😂😂
@@tacoman107 SAME WTF i was just eating my lunch and then was VIOLENTLY ATTACKED TWICE. i loved the adrenaline it gave me tho
Lol
omg, this is the first time I've had so much fun with a Russian horror game.
The mentions of Kuplinov (letsplayer in the video) and Marmok (the one who voice we were hearing while washing dishes, also a blogger) were especially amusing.
In fact, I live in an apartment, what looks almost the same as this one (I wonder if the creators of the game themselves drew all these models of basic items for a typical Russian family - a wall clock in the form of a wristwatch, a carpet on the wall with a pattern like the one on my carpet, packs of food soda, salt, condensed milk, sofa ...)
Although you say that the apartment looks scary and you suppose that they are starving, in fact, the protagonist has a family of average income in Russia and an apartment perhaps even above average (I mean a two-room apartment with a huge glazed balcony, size rooms are also large, the computer looks modern enough for average family in Russia).
The uniquely slav joy of hearing Jack yell ебать (yebat') in a near-perfect accent lmaooo
What does it mean?
@@therealshoeguy literally "Fuck"
Yeah, kinda relatable, and you formed it very nice - slav joy)
Laughed it out with my wife soo bad)
12:38 don’t worry Seán I got way more scared at the jump scare than you did I was shaking like I was going to die which never happens to me with jumpscares.
SAME! ive literally seen clips of that exact jumpscare and i jumped so hard my laptop fell
I literally screamed!
i jumped so badly from that and that's probably the first time in a while i jumped so hard 😭😭
I threw my phone and it hit my nose😭 It’s the first time in a long while I got jumpscared twice lol
I felt my soul leave my body. I never have gotten so scared in my life.
watching Sean play horror games is a special joy in life for me
I agree completely!
Me too! 💀☠
that cat interaction made me happy i recently had to rehome my cats and for some reason that warmed my heart
13:36 What a detailed way to produce a scare. That’s so well done.
Coming home late and seeing that Jack has uploaded a video is the best feeling
Couldn't agree more!!❤
Those jump scares absolutely destroyed me. You’re not alone Sean
28:13 that first good stretch when you wake up in the morning
I am not sure what kind of Christmas that creepy elf goblin doll is celebrating, but I am sure it is spooking Sean and trolling him at the same time.
12:39 - I can’t remember the last jump scare that actually got me like this did. Full brain and body impulse spasm 😝
omg same I threw my phone at that one 😂
I don’t remember the last time a jump scare got me this bad
@@cally0165 I knew something was coming by the sound but hell I was not expecting that
I jarred my back, with that jump scare.
the mokey dolls switched benches, what a subtle change. made me nervous... 16:20
12:39 that is absolutely the most i’ve jumped watching a horror game video oh my god my poor heart
These were some of the best jumpscares I’ve seen. I literally just about jumped off my bed.
Sean's content lately has been fire. Loving all these cool horror games and just his vibe in general. Seems like he's happy! :)
My god. Have I really just lived to a moment where Kuplinov Play, Marmok and jacksepticeye appear in the same video... AND Sean gives the actual "yabat' "??? I guess I might be at peace now
i have been eagerly sitting and refreshing youtube hoping the next episode of dredge would drop but this is just as good
It’s refreshing to actually get tingles on the jumpscares and have a good looking horror game with all the bad ones out there
I love Emika games as a studio and you should definitely play Father's Day when you get the chance! Great story and jumpscares. Great video as always Jack!
My chest aches from all the jumpscares getting me so bad lol
SERIOUSLT LMFAO
Is it bad that the jump scare’s didn’t get to me?
@@shadowking278 naw dawg you're just built different (in a good way)
I wasn’t fully through the video. But I had to look away from the screen because I heard my dog barking at something. I looked back at the screen at 22:36. i think that’s the only jump-scare that legitimately got me.
Wow, buildings are pretty accurate actually. There’s still a bunch of those in my hometown. Imagine going in one of such apartments for your math lessons with tutor in the evening time during winter. In fact, because of such “experience” now I’m not easily frightened :)
Jacks' puzzled reaction to Kuplinov's intro gives me life XD

"Theres something about the look of it (the apartment) that is haunting"- Sean has just summed up life in an eastern european block.
Sean looks really nice! Long-ish hair and an earring! With a collar and a blue shirt! He's kind looking like he could be in a fantasy book!
Jack: "Can't get me with the same thing twice."
Game: "Ok, how about 3 times?" (charging thing)
I am absolutely LOVING this horror content holyyy! You are so entertaining to watch normally but I become simply invested when you are playing horror games. I seriously cannot explain how much I love watching you play horror games! Keep making videos dude, they are absolute BANGERS!!
I loved this so much but can we appreciate how amazing jack looks with his new dangling earring! literally slaying
the pure fear this game has instilled in me is insane. its so well done! Summer of 58' is similar, and so, SO good.
Ah man, I can't get enough of his content.
Jack, if you're reading this, I also wanna say that you aged incredibly well. I'm just a couple months older than you and growing out the long hair and beard seems to have worked for us both.
Keep it up man. Love your stuff!
P.S.- you're braver than I. I CANNOT handle horror games. Horror movies and shows? Love 'em. Games? I've knocked over my monitor as well.
I saw the thumbnail, knew what game it was immediately, saw it was Sean, said "uh oh.." and now I'm going to enjoy this to an incredible amount
i loved the meme plushies on the bench , also the first jumpscare actually got me
the monkey was in the apartment too omfg
The jumpscares got me really good too and I rarely get that startled from a horror games these days.
The house, the building and the staircases are extremely accurate to tho old buildings we have here in Mongolia, its awesome to see a horror game set in a familiar place.
The video on the comp belongs to our fav Russian gamer, his name is Dimitry Kuplinov. Damn our games are scary af, I love the setting and atmosphere, but it’s horrible even for me, and I live here
how he read MIRU - MIR got me chokinggg
6:44 its interesting it feels like game read Sean's mind "so far so pleasant" and turned off the light to troll him, glad to see you upload on Easter
You're everywhere
Hearing marmok at 11:15 was surreal
The perfect intro.. No gameplay, just Jack staring at the screen. When suddenly.. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
Ah it’s egg day and Sean posts another horror game. Best.Day.Ever.
