People say those who hot flock don't know how to use their equipment but we have to adjust our spray patterns accordingly. Its not easy to get a good finish with low end equipment.
You heat the wheel before you media blast them, we usually heat them at 420º (part temp) for 30 - 45 minutes. It's to get any contaminates out of the metal.

I just did a D16 valve cover the other day, hot flocked the base and hot flocked the clear coat. Had a great finish with no drips.

I cant seem to get into tight areas or sharp corners?? And if I do then I get orange peel.. idk wjat I'm doing wrong I follow tds sheet with IR gun
sounds like you're getting it too thick, or it's not heating up quick enough. what gun are you using?
