The F4 is great, mine only uses 6% CPU with gyro and pid loop set to 8khz. Very smooth flyer on my 160 frame. Just a tip when flashing this board, a toothpick works great for pushing down the gold button to enter bind mode (don't use metal). For GPS flyers, I used uart6 for ibus receiver, uart1 for gps and uart3 for compass wires. (no need to identify compass in Betaflight uart3 - it will see that it's there).
great video, That black one is a clone, Im sure most of the quad stuff you get from that site will be clones ,but regardless in most cases just as good. I run a Omnibus F3 running D shot on Lumemier 2206 11 2350 motors = smooth. But bull nose 5045s are a must if you want that extra punch. Keep us posted on performance with that combo your running now. Looks sweet

f4 pro - is not necessary to conect + battery wire directly to fc (bat +) and then + wire from (MOTO) fc to pdb? to use current sensor? i think this is second way to connect fc and then you have correct current value which fc can read... then you can see eg. osd how many amps have been used
+Mojzu I believe you are absolutely right. As far as I can see from the video, with this setup, the FC will only be able to read its own power consumption (not the ESC/motors). :-/
I was powering a small camera and micro VTX with one of mine and the board suddenly stopped working. It will no longer power from the battery but will with a 5v input but now now vbat. It was well known that there were problems doing that with V1 of the board, is that still a problem with V2?
The flight controller of my wizard 220S got mess-up I replaced. Now in my goggles I have picture but xXxX and 0000and vvvvv are in the picture as well. Why is that can you tell me. The flight controller is a omnibus f4 v3. I notice a push bottom a little one I'm afraid to touch it don't know for what it is. im doing a 6s build and i have the omnibus f4 osd flightcontroller. is there anyway to hook up the vbat with this type voltage with the osd working. i just realized i think this board is 2-5s direct power connect. i could always connect the vbat with vreg off of the pdb to keep voltage in its limits but i would loose the correct voltage for osd to give me correct readings any thoughts?

Hi! awesome channel! I have a question. I wired everything according to numerous videos and I plugged my DSMX receiver to the port (works on uart 3 in my case). Everything works perfect for like 5 seconds, and then the receiver loses signal. Any advice would be really appreciated.
Just trying to connect my video Tx and camera, when I have the board powered and I connect the vtx signal wire the OSD information shows up on my screen but soon as I plug my camera signal wire in, the camera video feed comes on but the OSD information disappears, what am I doing wrong. Omnibus F4 Pro V3 Flight Controller with Current Sensor, OSD and SmartAudio i ordered one and replacing a hyperlite f4 that some reason after 12 flights and coming in landing after flying good and 13th lipo it did a double startup chime and after checking betaflight it lost all data!! dont make no bit of since but has any issues resolved on the omnibus cause im so tired of replacing crap becouse of common issues like i mentioned. Im hoping this is great flightcontroller is there anything special wiring on frysky x4r-sb? and will smartport work without mods?
Did the FC powering up directly from the dattery? Or you've got some extra 5v supply line? I've connect it throw the current sensonr, and it dosn't powering up from the batt. Seems like it wants some external 5v source. Is there any jumper to select it? UPD: and it doesnt wort throw the external power =| But with usb powering on is ok. What I'am doing wrong?
hi: got 2 of those boards. the led strip doesnt work on the J1 port; already know that the led mapping was changed to pwm6, I've connected led signal to pwm6 and using 5v and gnd from J1 but still doesnt work. Have u managed to use some ws2812 led strips on these? thanx

how did your osd act after wiring ground via pbd instead of the ground on the flight board for camera and vtx ground tab any flickering or blackouts ?

Where to the led strip setup?
Did that setup give you zero video noise? The + - to the fc doesn't create any noise in the video feed?
I mention you have to use an LC Filter in the vid. ~ JD.
I ditched the LC filter when I switched to BLheli_S 4in1 and Dshot. the digital signal seems to generate a lot less noise.

Sounds like a ground issue. Make sure the VTX and Camera connect to the same ground.

I have vi and v2 omnibus boards and can't get either to work LEDs or servos on pins 5 and 6. I guess this explains both problems.
