- Well I went and did it. I got OVER 25 new subscribers and almost 200 comments so I got the E-Flite Commander MPD. As with all E-Flite planes this Commande MPD was well packed and thought out well. So many of my viewers suggested it so it was not hard to decide upon getting it. The E-flite Commander MPD assembly went without a hitch and the plane looks to be a fun stable flyer!

On the 3s maiden i had worked out the trim better that video will be up soon. The 4s maiden went okay but I discovered trim and cg issues that I thought were right before I flew.

Awesome plane. This was my first plane getting back into RC planes after 23 years. I've over 100 hours on this Commander 1400mm, I just wish she had a little more power.
On 4s she seems to have plenty of power. once I get used to her I will do another 4s video of her and really open her up.
25/200? Bruthaman, one must never justify a reason to purchase a new plane. 🙂 But those numbers are good numbers indeed. Well deserved purchase. Congrats on both. Your vids are always worth my time. Fun and informative. She is one good looking plane.

excellent plane ! I did put several coats of Mod-Podge on the foam wheel pants to protect them...just a thought, since they are foam and get beat-up in the grass and hauling around :-) ...have a great week...

Cool looking plane . I just recently learned how to unlock and reset my AR636A. Receiver . Looks like I can start looking for a new plane to put it in. Going to set it up for No assistance, AS3X and Safe on a 3 position switch. Certainly a interesting part of this hobby is the Technology as well as assembly. Looking forward to watching you maiden that sweet looking bird.
Well then you have a programing cable then. Just FYI the new gen receivers can easily be jail broke by just updating them. Then they are the same as blank new receivers ready to adapt to whatever plane you want to use forward programing on. AR630, AR631 etc...etc...

I just purchased my 3rd Commander 1st I dumb thumbed, 2nd I lost in all blue sky and this one I just put together this evening in maybe a half hour and now I wait for a decent weather day.
Well I was not a fan of the color so I have long since sold mine. Good flying plane however.
You will love this plane greg, i can predict that there will be lots of "oh yeah oh yeah" when you fly this aeroplane...atb...jeff.
The 4s maiden was okay, the 4s lipo needs to be further back than I though with a 3200 once I worked that out she flew a little better. the 3s maiden went great however. that will be uploaded soon.
Nice tip on the hinges. E flite has a big problem with hardware no doubt. Hex head bolts are way better, but they labeled the screw bags this time. I opted not to buy this plane because of no lights. Thats a selling point for me. But what a awesome plane.
Flies good and yes lights make a big push in sales. Great for orientation and look cool.

Some of the E flite planes are hard to get down here in New Zealand, and Horizon Hobby doesn't ship to NZ.
However the commandeer is available in some of our hobby shops.
