Chow Yun-fat gives a career best performance in WILD SEARCH, his third collaboration with director Ringo Lam (CITY ON FIRE, FULL CONTACT).
Yun-fat plays Lau, a widowed police officer investigating a gang of gun runners. When a shootout with the criminals leaves a woman dead, and her daughter the only surviving witness, Lau must protect the young girl from the ruthless gang that wants her dead.
A loose reimagining of Peter Weir’s 1985 film WITNESS, WILD SEARCH showcases Ringo Lam’s often underrated versatility as a director. With beautiful cinematography by Andrew Lau (INFERNAL AFFAIRS) and a dreamy score by Lowell Lo, Eureka Classics is proud to present WILD SEARCH in its UK debut on Blu-ray.

Dear Eureka, is there any chance that you could also include the English dubbed audio which was present in the British MIA Video DVD and older VHS if I'm correct? That would be awesome as you also included English dubs for your other Hong Kong cinema releases :)

And they have - Joseph Kuo Kung Fu flicks, Sabata, Story Of Ricky - plus Shanghai Express and Encounters Of The Spooky Kind (shame Warners held out on the sequel rights) being released recently. This is starting to feel like a golden age for HK/Kung Fu movie fans who also happen to love physical media. Not been this optimistic since HKL at their height and when Celestial re-released the SB catalogue back in the mid 2000's.

@@ps5stuffguy It's like Ringo Lam's remake of "The Witness," except Ringo Lam focuses most on the romantic melodrama between Cherie Chung and Chow Yun Fat. It still has action scenes with guns, but it's much slower paced and less hyper kinetic than Hard Boiled. I still love Wild Search too though.
Can you guys suggest me something like Hard Boiled or any movies with actions. Where he is the main character.
