Ok, that’s how I’ve thought wreckers should work for years. Bring vehicles inside at the very least.
Nothing worse than finding exactly what you need in the yard but ruined by weather or a knob who didn’t feel like just unplugging the loom.

When the parts are worth enough, it makes market sense. Most of the outdoor self-serve yards that I've been to only carry older stuff that just wouldn't be economical to give this much effort and money towards.

Wow this is a hell of a company. I'm over in the US so I've never heard of them but they sure seem to have a massive facility. Hearing about the engine warranty and agreement to pull-n-pay if something unseen goes wrong is a huge deal. That tells me they stand by their QC and trust their parts picking system. I hope you can work with them more in the future as they deserve some spotlight for bringing the wrecking yard into the current online era.

I'm here in the US too, and I'm stunned at how well ACM operates! The Australians have this down! We're still stuck in the slog-through-the-mud to see if it's still there and if the weather hasn't ruined it.

I've used scrappys (aka wreakers aka junkyard) in the UK that work in a similar way. They pull all the parts off and put them into stock, rather than just leave you to pull the parts yourself, but they were just a big shed, not a massive warehouse like this.

I have a manual IS250 with the 4GR - I thought they used the same Aisin trans as the 6 Sp V6 Commodore? And if you were considering a 4GR but dropped it because of the direct injection - why did you not look at the 2GR which has both direct and port injection? And the Hilux 4.0 1GR is Port Injected with plenty of cheap manuals. None of those were ever going to seriously beat an LS though....

Curious for a budget reasons how much would a L77 cost with the manual gearbox from ACM?

Rather see a 1JZ swap, but this is gonna be cool.

Yeah. I would’ve gone straight for the 1jz vvti and r154 myself as I’m a bit of a purist and the UZ is kinda overrated... I wonder if the LS and T56 would be the same price in Australia though.
