- After a very long break, I came back to DBZ Budokai 3 Dragon Universe mode!
This time I brought Goku's DU, but, for time reasons, I could only play the whole Saiyan Saga. Next time, I'll do Namek one.

F.A.Q.
"What is Z3?"
* Z3 is the hardest difficulty available in Dragon Universe and in general. I showed it at the start to make sure no one can say otherwise.
"How can I be sure?"
* Well, beside the intro part, you can just watch the results screens: they match my fights and the amount of Exp. I receive is compatible with Z3 difficulty.
"How do you have a maxed out Goku? Isn't lv99 the cap?"
* Yes, it is, but I found a way to bypass it by using Cheat Engine.
"Isn't it cheating? Aren't you overpowered?"
* Not quite. The only stats I'm actually using are Ki, Attacks, Arts and Abilities. Maxing 'em out requires to reach lv80, which is totally legit. Since I'm not taking any damage anyway, Health and Defense stat could also be 0 and it wouldn't change a bit.
"Why the CPU doesn't always teleport?"
* As you saw in the beginning, I equipped Turtle Shell, which doubles the amount of Ki required to teleport.
"How do you always land full Dragon Rush?"
* Many retries and some knowledge of the IA buttons-choosing patterns. Also luck, of course. Expecially luck.
"Why aren't you using Breakthrough capsule?"
* Beside the fact that I want to equip Turtle Shell as long as it's possible, I find that going SSj4 from the very first fight destroys the immersivity. I tried to keep the fights as canon as possible.
"How did you get to fight Broly at the Battle Point?"
* After beating Goku's DU once, you'll unlock a lot of new interactions inside it. Between them, there's also a secondary, hidden, Battle Point where you can fight Broly. You can find it around the Mountains where you fight Vegeta from the very start of the Dragon Universe.
"How did you get to fight Tien?"
* Just go at the World Martial Artist Tournament ring, near South City, and you'll find him there.

This game is still a masterpiece, for me it's a lot better than DBZ KAKAROT, really.
I tried to like Kakarot even though I've never played it, everything seems fine but the thing that I hate the most is the way how ssj looks and the combat just looks so repetitive
Part of the reason I'm saving to build a PC instead of the PS5, high quality access to old gems like this that you normally cant play once your old console gives out (And long term a better way to go since most games become dirt cheap during sales)
@@Mrepicfail21 yeah, that's the only other reason I have a pc, is just to play the old games and mod some of my Favs while I get the PS5 to play the new ones and the exclusives
You can't really compare the two games, they're completely different playstyles
@@taffmeister584 thank you Tony I like Dragon Ball Z Budokai series I like any Dragon Ball Z game huge fan of the Budokai series as a (fighting game) Dragon Ball Z Kakarot I've been waiting for years for that( rpg-style ) of Dragon Ball Z. In Dragon Ball Z Budokai it's just repetitive a Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is. I love how you can explore different environments runaround drive vehicles let me get on the nimbus cloud I come on there's all kinds of good qualities about that game. do all kinds of s*** just like in the show. 100% badass Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is a freaking phenomenal jrpg game. Again I do enjoy playing the Dragon Ball Z Budokai series I still played in the day I was playing one on the PSP yesterday. Also it's your manner opinion.

Chritty boi I was more talking about him restricting himself to be more like the show, not using transformations against Raditz, going kaioken against Nappa, using the spirit bomb to finish Vegeta, etc.
@@MSF_Soldier_Alligator That's how I do it too. Besides it takes away some difficulty if you have more default ki bars than your opponent.

nauticaxo i just feel like there’s more to do in b3, but combat-wise, character roster and movesets etc, IW is better imo.
Combine the best aspects of B3 and IW, increase the roster, update the graphics = profit.

I wish that DBZ Kakarot had come out with two DLC Packs with both the original Dragon Ball franchise and The Future Trunks Special.Then for the second wave pack they would come out with the DBS Pack for both God Of Destruction Beerus Saga and Golden Frieza Saga.The third wave could do DBGT if only the fans want it.

I was this good, but with tenkaichi 2 for the wii when I was like 16, but then i played 3 was okay at it, but it ruined my muscle memory and I could never play 2 again. I'm still okay at 3, but at best I'm okay at 2. I'd have to relearn 2 on the ps2 since I'll never be good at the wii one again smh

Assuming you're using PCSX2, how did you eliminate input latency? If so, any recommendations on settings within the emulator? If not, no problem! Good fights man, that was a lot of skill there.
Definitely use a wired controller as to Bluetooth. Also turn off v sync

And how do you get 20's in every stat? Isn't every level up worth 1 point?
Yes, it is, but I know what I'm doing *and* I'm lucky.

@@Dr._Doppietta A pity it's just luck. If there was a way to predict their buttons, it would make it that much easier to use special beam cannon on Raditz and Warp Kamehameha on Cell.

Unfortunately, when Saibaman explodes, you can't move your character anymore.

In the fights it is a little bit Lucky you did not ger any damage cause of the last attack, depends on the computer not taking the right one.

And next switch out Trutle Shell with Concentration against Z3, that should be an interesting fight
With Turtle Shell it seems all you have to do is spam attack into their face and the AI cant really deal with it, especially with cancels and charged guard breaks
With "Concentration" is even worse, 'cause you only see teleport spam and little to no combo showcase.

i play the story on z3 with heart disease vaccine and we gotta power x4, first i completed kid gohan on very hard to get z and completed teen gohan on z and gohan on z2, gattering these silver gold black memberships with gohan is very easy and money as well, i had enough money trough all gohans to get sparking x7

Ogni volta che equipaggi un'abilità, ne aumenti il danno del 25%.

You’ve never maxed out a character I’m guessing?
Having lv20 Ki in DU makes every action take -30% Ki than usual. That includes transformations too.
It's like having "Meditation" equipped all the time.

You can't get a full lv140 Goku without using Cheat Engine or something like that.
That's why there's no "code" to get it, it shouldn't exist in the first place.

It's like setting a difficulty for Duel Mode.
0-4 Very Easy
5-9 Easy
10-13 Normal
14-16 Hard
17-19 Very Hard
20 Z
It doesn't help the players, it only decides the level of the CPU when it controls your character.

This isn't Z3, most likely changed difficulty to easy or very easy after he has shown us the options.
Oppononents don't even teleport and additionaly, the opponents dont block on Z3 difficulty , instead they dodge always
Why are you talking out of your butt to begin with?
I showed *clearly* the results screen after each battle, and the amount of Exp. points I get (plus all the other stats) matches with the Z3 difficulty settings I showed at the beginning and the battles I fought.
CPU blocks on Z3 as well, they don't teleport because I've equipped "Turtle Shell", which is also clearly stated in video's Description *and also clearly showed* in the video itself.
I've made an entire "F.A.Q." section exactly for comments like yours, but it's really true that "DB fans can't read".
