Looks so good man! I wonder what it’s like to pull an instrument bezel and not have the dashboard explode in your hands while you’re doing it? 😂 Loving the Dodge content!!
@ 19:55 I had to stop the video. Because i saw you have a Conquest TSI in the background. I had to mention it because i remember that car from back in the day. I know she's your baby. I just had to acknowledge the gorilla in the room. Nice !!
Go find you seat motors from the junkyard and take a battery charger or a power probe and test them before you pull them even if the seats are junk they probably have decent motors
I would probably use a carbon fiber look trim if I ever put any of them on my 2000 dodge ram Laramie slt mine is not a Laramie slt plus no woodgrain trim no overhead compass/outside temp computer readout and no stereo steering wheel controls
I started to laugh at 32:40 when you made the statement about rolled up carpet when I saw it. Is that replacement carpet cut larger than factory size? Great job on the interior upgrades. Can you steam vac the seats? Should bring back some color.
Yeah, the carpet is quite a bit longer and wider than factory, which is handy when it comes time to trim. I have a big steamer that I may employ at some point. Couldn't hurt.
I have a 2000 dodge ram Laramie slt and it's seats, center console and door panels are both light mist, and dark mist grey and the 98 and up rainbow thread design interior
I have a 2000 dodge ram Laramie slt longbed quad cab 5.2 litre 318 magnum V8 46 RE AT 1500 4X4 triple gloss black with I think white pinstripe it was a guys truck he purchased slightly used when he retired has 176k, but it also had a cluster change because half of the gauges quit working all except the volt gauge and the gas gauge, the check engine light and the high beam indicator nothing else worked truck has fairly decent interior it does have a dash skinz dash cap but it is not sealed down all the way factory dash does have a small hole in the middle of the top of the dash but the dash bezel has several clips missing and the plastic tabs are even missing on a few of them so it rattles and moves
I noticed something about my truck today vehicle is assembled in Mexico, explains the heco in Mexico and they are not the base model speakers im fairly certain truck is 11/99 still dealing with the speaker issues neither rear speakers work and I really don't want to have to go through the hassle of running new speaker wires through the door and along the carpet to the dash and hacking into the factory dash connector pigtail for the stereo,, so I am still dealing with the same issue.... Even using a test speaker which tells me that there is definitely something either inside of the front doors i missed or they have shoved it all the way back up into the wiring harness boot
I may have an answer for you. If you have the older Infinity system, the "Radio Choke" may be your issue. It's to the left of the radio attached behind the instrument cluster. If you have a newer Infinity system, then you have a seperate amplifier located somewhere. Radio feeds the amp, then the amp drives the speakers.
Love this truck
Thanks!!
Nice job on that truck! Love that style ram!
Me too!

I gotta admit, I squint every time I take that bezel off (which has been about 10 times now). I'm just waiting on that dash to grenade on me.
My truck doesn't have power seats either but it has power windows and locks, and the newer version model year 2000 mirrors and they are heated
Dodge was famous for giving driver power seats only. My dad has a '15 Laramie SLT and it still has a manual passenger seat.

I considered doing that, but with the price of new motors, I may just get them new.
Beautiful truck my favourite gen of RAM and my favourite motor to go in it.
Right on!

I like the carbon fiber look.
Next time its a lot easier to take the shifter off and tape the hole. Love the truck
Yeah, probably should have.

Great looking truck, your giving me inspiration to redo my vehicles! Thanks for the content can’t wait till next Friday.
Thanks for watching!!

Nice color combo.
My center seat console is the same issue as yours i just slide my hand up under the left side of the console and it will easily fold back down..
Yeah, that's the way they're supposed to work. Mine's better now that it's cleaned/lubed.

LMC actually sells an entire replacement dashboard. That's probably where I'll go next.

I was just going to ask if that’s your old truck.
Yep, sure is. I can't get rid of anything!
Like I said since my dash cluster has already been swapped out since the factory one failed the dash illuminates fine so I am not changing my bulbs...
Cool
My truck doesn't have the storage box under the rear seat either..
I found one at a junkyard. Actually they're everywhere if you need one.
