ive found for 10 series nvidia cards the Beta version of this video gave me much better results on the 540 version of nvidia drivers , with this updated version i get 70 fps lows

Thank you so much, this seems to have solved my stuttering issues! I think the problem might actually be that CS2 doesn't like the latency settings in the NVIDIA control panel like you mentioned, so disabling the NVIDIA control panel latency option and having it enabled in CS2 made my game stop lagging!

Don't use ISLC: Producing and consuming too many resources will cause interruptions since it cleans itself automatically, in addition to the constant polling due to its usage. Furthermore, each operating system has its own Memory Manager and cleans itself as needed.

Wow this is actually such a good guide, Panjno my man you have grown to a beautiful being. Only thing I was left for wanting is graphics comparisons between all the graphical settings, tho that does take considerable amount of time!
Its maybe worth noting that different areas of the map can impact fps quite heavily, mainly maps like ancient and anubis (the water areas).
Also its worth testing in an actual game environment because you will take a bit more of an fps hit with more smokes/mollys/players etc etc.
I've noticed too that fps will drop significantly on maps that have waters

I dont know if its the vulkan option or the profile inspector, but one of these two made my fps go from 90ish to 25 with 1% low 1fps

Boost player contrast has a big impact on 1% and 0.1% lows. On my system (5600X + 3070) they drop from ~270fps to as low as 120fps when enabling it and the real kicker is that it happens on a completely empty server.

@@unclecharlie. Doubt you have that much on 2K high settings. I get 350-500fps on 1550x1080 shadows high, textures med, all else low/off.

weird, try updating graphics drivers. I didnt have that issue but had some microstutters. When i updated to the latest drivers just now everything felt super smooth.

@panjno Any ideas on texture stuttering when moving mouse? at least that what it looks like with some hitching. I've built a whole new PC, tried 3 different monitors, 3 different mouses wired and wireless, 3 different gpu's, 2 debloated windows builds, every setting in your videos and on the internet. Happened in CS GO also. Only way I can remotely tolerate it is to use gysnc and vsync and capping my frames at 200. I have 3070 with Ryzen 7700x and 240hz Freesync monitor.

Whenever I change my refresh rate to anything but 60hz I just get black bars on the side of my screen. Im so confused on what's happening

Enabling vsync gives such a calm and continous view in motion and strafing. If your rig can stay above monitors refresh rate, enable it. It looks better than Gsync and freesync
Does anyone know why if i don t cap my fps i get around 160 but if i cap them at 144(i have 144 hz) i get like 120 fps and i don t understand why
every time I tab into the game, after a few seconds it hangs for multiple seconds and then continues to run.. kinda annoying if you want to tab out real quick and it has killed me once or twice
when i look into the console it just looks like it's iterating a few dozen times over something that has to do with the frame buffer and them not receiving an answer or something - did anyone have that as well?

I have 300+fps on all high setting. On the training mode i dont have Stuttering but when it comes to play online mode i have sometimes 0,5 seconds Stuttering . How to fix this?
Great guide, as always. But I suggest always maxing out Texture Filtering to 16X. It not only cost 0 FPS, but it sharpens and boosts the visual quality of your gloves, weapon and the ground below you. It's an old optimization and literally has zero impact on performance, regardless of the game. Unless you're on super old gen hardware.
Edit: it seems some of you are getting fps impacts. Either CS2 has this setting poorly implemented, or you’re on really old hardware. Look up any guides, AF should cost nothing in performance.

@@Lunyx_ trilinear is almost as shit as bilinear but basically free on almost all moderately modern systems. Bilinear and trilinear can be distracting since it looks like the floor is loading while u move. I use 4x anisotropic, costs barely anything.

Somethings wrong with my game. It randomly freezes. Sometimes the screen flashes and Ik that’s a driver issue but I’ve checked and updated everything and it still freezes. Turned off Nvidia overlay and it helped but I’m still getting freezes. Makes no sense. The game runs smoothly on high and medium so I set it to low and it still freezes. Every time I close the game it reverts my settings too. Idk. Tomorrow I’m gonna try to uninstall Nvidia experience and see what that does

The biggest issue is that yeah I can get 250/300 frames but when I get into a gun fight or am around grenades, I just lose 100 fps as you did in your clip. So I fighting at 150-200 frames

From a technical position putting the game you're playing on the same drive as your operating system is the opposite approach to gaining performance. Now you will be competing with the OS for any I/O channels.
had issues with crashing as soon as i load into games and when i look around it would just freeze but i was fine for the first 4 days after release 9i even bought new ram surely the game has performance issues and not my pc

Game is running buttery smooth at 1440p RTX 3080. 240hz monitor Gsync + vsync + reflex enabled which caps fps at 224fps. Also add the engine low latency command to your autoexec for the most stable frametimes.
224fps is not a good thing either. With 3080 we should be getting 300+ fps easily.

@@ilevitatecs2 once you hit 240+hz monitors, gsync + vsync on with nvidia reflex boost is a viable competitive setup. the input delay goes away thanks to reflex and you get no screen tearing and minimal fps variance.

@panjno do you know any solution for this: every map the first time I scope with a weapon (awp/scout) the game freeze for a half sec then goes normaly even if I scope again, but the first one is always like this.. very anoying when I pick up the enemie’s awp first in some situation

Something is weird though, if i launch a server without any bots on it my gpu usage is around 60-80%, if i add bots the gpu usage drops and i have no idea why...

hello mi man, thx for the help in getting more fps but when u gave me the "-vulkan", that thing gave me an error that made the CS2 not even opening, and to fix that error i had to delete the "-vulkan" from the launch options. Just a tip so if some one else gets the error
In the profile inspector there is no cs2-profile. Only Counter-Strike Online 2. Should I use that one?

this helped managed to get 200 fps after was getting 144 fps, sad idk why my gpu usage in csgo 2 around 40% but this fixed half the problem all my games 96% usage or above only in csgo 2 around 40%. thank you so much hope they will the game soon
CSGO has always been a heavy CPU based game... I guarantee you that your CPU usage is at 100% when playing CS
@@johnk3769I dunno I also don't get close to 100% gpu usage on settings closer to low, but as nvidia overlay shows my cpu isn't much utilized too. For example 40% cpu/60% gpu on some settings, but I never ever seen my 12400f to be utilized more than 50% in cs2. It works in combo with 1660S
@@dmitromba i guess that it because cpu cache is too weak on those cpus. I got the same problem with i9-9900k. i navigate around 160-330 fps. 1% low sometimes at only 100fps. 9900K /16GB 3600 / rx 6800 16GB/ both Win10&11
idk if anyone knows or if its fixed but amd drivers are causing crashes and stutters in game and when your pc is idle amd drivers also can cause vac ban because of the new anti lag feature so if you are crashing its probably the new driver. i dont know if i explained that right LMAOOOo but hopefully this helps someone.
