- Took the 2024 Ram Power Wagon (aka Red Beast Wagon) on Hurricane Creek Trail in NC as well as Fines Creek and later a short hike up to Max Patch with some new friends from Venture Unknown FB group. We all had a great time. Was able to find some great spots to fully test out the flex on the truck. It performed flawlessly down the trail and is definitely a big beast going down the trails like a “bull in a china shop”. :)
Navagating with those wide mirrors 👍👍
They definitely stick out. When you close them and then travel over 10 mph they auto open back. 😡
Those opening shots articulating through those whoops!!!! Love seeing you wheel that gorgeous truck. That trail looks fun.
Thanks for watching. It was a lot of fun. The very first part of the video flex was on Fines Creek near Hurricane Creek. The Red Beast is pretty agile for a big truck.
Awesome share! Glad to see yall getting out and having fun!
We had a great time.
This video gives me inspiration to keep and upgrade my 2012 Ram. Also inspired to get out on some trails for the first time. Thank you.
Awesome to hear. Getting off road is definitely fun!
Seems them Rams handled the trail better than the 4Runners 😁 (V8 4Runner owner here)
Thanks for watching. We all had a great time. The Red Beast Wagon did not disappoint. The articulation on this truck is impressive. Having solid front axles is definitely a plus. Ordered some WKO frame mounted rock sliders and they will hopefully be installed in 4+ weeks or so. Definitely will be ready for even more rocks with those. Also, I have my eye on a nice transmission skid plate from Dethloff Mfg that would be a great addition to armor the Beast.
❤❤❤
Great video! What size tires? What did you air down to? Thanks!
Thanks for watching. Those are Toyo Open Country 37x12.50R17 tires. On this trip, I aired down to 25 psi all around with no tire spin. If you get a chance, check out the earlier videos that show the build process with lots of detailed specs from the beginning…
That last obstacle you showed is much worse than when I was there a couple years ago with my Gladiator. Was the other Ram a Power Wagon?
No. It was a Ram 2500 HD on 38s…
Awesome! Are you interested in vehicle ligting stuff sponsorship?
How do you get to Hurricane from US 40?
If you are on I-40 West going towards TN from NC and see the Harmon’s Den 1 mile exit sign be in the right lane with your blinker on. Shorty afterwards as soon as that guardrail ends turn right onto the trail.
