You know it’s a tight and interesting trail when the mirrors are folded in! Another good video…Power Wagon don’t care!

For sure. Thanks for watching. One thing that is interesting with this PW…. Once you drive over 10 mph the mirrors will automatically open back out. I had to keep closing them occasionally. 😡

New to all this TH-cam stuff but curious: how do you set up your 4wd as far as axle lock/sway bar ect. Do you do this at the bottom of the mountain or adjust to each obstacle?

Thanks for watching. I will start out in 4 low and disconnect the sway bar and typically just put on the rear lockers depending on the terrain. I might later turn on the front lockers depending on the obstacle and how wet it might be on the trail climbing that obstacle. Also, definitely air the tires down as well to get better traction and to provide a smoother ride. I have recently just been airing all tires to 25 psi and seems to work well for me. Obviously you would need an air source to inflate the tires back up before you get back on road.

For a stock PW with 33s, you might not want to air down to 25, maybe just 30 or so…. I have “bead grip” wheels (Method 704HD - check out earlier build videos), so those wheels could definitely allow some fairly low pressures without fear of debeading the tire. Also, you may want to check out my chalk test video and take a look at your tire pressures. Unless you are loading the truck up or towing you could probably lower your tire pressures over factory. I initially lowered my 33 tires to 60 front and 55 rear. Didn’t trip the TPMS factory setting there, but it might be close.

Im goad to see a PeeDub being used! The outside guy filming would need to match his video recording resolution with yours.

He recorded in Portrait mode so I cropped his footage to match up to my landscape mode. In this case, the resolution is not the same plus I have a newer iPhone model as well. I might invest in another video recorder to use for outside later.

Thanks for more PW content. But, just know, I don’t invite guys with flickering lights on my trail rides. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Congrats on buying the worst selling truck, ever…

No worries. Thanks for watching. You know that the lights don’t actually flicker with the naked eye only when recording with an iPhone or similar.

@@redbeastadventuresyes, I also have a PW. I was just joking based on a comment in your other video. Did you ever figure out what scraped?

@@That_Paul_Guy 🤣 The driver side step got scraped up pretty good with a minor dent. Surprisingly those steps are holding up pretty well. Good news is my WKO frame mounted rock sliders will be here in about 4 weeks. 😀

@@redbeastadventures you’ll be happy with them, I’ve had them on 2 previous vehicles. I am trying to hold out on purchasing them for my PW until they do their thanksgiving sale which is usually 15% off. We’ll see. Your videos are making me jealous but most of the stuff here in North Ga doesn’t even touch the factory step bars.
Make sure to look at what others have said about the washers you install on the front brackets contacting the frame. Most people grind a couple flat to avoid it.
