Don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart.❤ Dare to dream BIG my friend. You have been doing GREAT. Keep it up!💪
As a beginner myself I can’t express how much videos like this have helped me. I know I would have struggled so much and probably would have given up without help. I’m still taking small steps on the steep learning curve that is astrophotography but when it all comes together damn it feels good. 👍Thanks Joe.
Thanks so much Pete! It means a lot to me that all the work I put into these videos are really helpful for folks. I agree, it’s the best feeling when it all comes together in this hobby, because it really isn’t an easy thing to do.
Thanks James, I hope it helps get even a few people into the hobby. It's funny, I was just watching your latest video and then saw you commented on mine lol
@@JoesAstrophoto hehe... I had uploaded the video last night and then went to bed... to give it some time to process the HD. Got up this morning.. tweaked some settings.. made it public.. then hit my subscriptions list and "Oh look, Joe's got a new video up.. lets check it out" :)
Great video mate, love the images that you included throughout...especially that Osprey with the fish, and your jellyfish nebula is insanely good! Great tip about printing your own bahtinov. Clear skies 👍
Found your channel a few weeks ago and appreciate the info you provide. As someone wanting to get into deep space photography they’re really helpful. One suggestion please, could you explain what people mean by Dark, Light, flats or something similar. Every time it’s mentioned it’s as everyone knows what they are. Kind of need the what, why and how to know why they’re needed. Thanks
Good video Joe! All great points, I wish I saw this video when I started out, I would have gone for an equatorial goto mount instead of the sky guider pro!! Very informative 👍 Clear skies
Great video Joe! Would love to get some advice on how you go about finding good targets to image for a given night, taking into account your scopes focal length and any obstacles on the horizon.
Thank you Jon! That’s a great idea for a video, and with all the rain lately, maybe I’ll do that in the next couple weeks. Definitely try the website “Telescopius” if you haven’t already.
Thanks so much Ed! There's so many things to learn as a beginner. I've been doing this for years now and still find myself doing research on certain things. I guess that's why it remains so interesting.
Great introduction to the kit you need Joe, I reckon people will find this very useful 👍
Thanks so much John, I hope it helps beginners get an idea of what they’re getting into
