The Himiway can be changed to many settings to alter it's " power" at different PAS settings. You should be running it on a 0-5 or 0-7 or 0-9 range so You have the safety of it not running away when You stop. Tinkering Turtle TH-cam channel has a video on how to change ALL the settings. It will help You.
Himiway is currently not shipping with the Kenda Krusade reflective puncture resist tread tire and is substituting a generic Juggernaut. What is your opinion of the substitute tire compared to normal Krusade?
I am 6'3" 260lbs. with bad knees and I'm looking for a BIG E-Bike. I saw one review and the guy said , seat was a bit to close up... What do y'all think about this bike for a big guy?
Had so much trouble with Himiway. They tried to replace my faulty motor 3 times instead of letting me ship the bike back for a replacement. Took 6 months and I had to take it to a mechanic to replace. Then, still didn’t work and they wanted me to buy another one and return the old one before they would send me a new one. I think they’re customer service is in China? Just get something local because Himiway doesn’t know how to fix their problems.
I just watched a video called secret Himinway Pas settings, Channel author is the tech of tech. It makes the response less responsive if you want it to and takes away that all-or-nothing type pedal response that a lot of bike riders don't like, I found it extremely helpful
I have same one i hate only one thing front brake is on right and rear is on left it is hard to learn it when you start rideing it after 12 years of rideing common bike 😓😓
Can you not switch them? My previous Chinese ebike came that way but switching them was easy. It's important to do it if you ride in town and give hand signals. The last thing you want is a front brake only emergency stop.

Do yourself a favor and buy a Rad Rover. The Himiway Bike is nice but Customer Service from Himiway after you have purchased the bike in nonexistent. God forbid if you need to order any spare parts or accessories. They are extremely slow on shipping and delivery.

@@KingMrBigE two Cruisers One Step through.. they all got one same flaw, batteries don't sit flush, space between all batteries.( just to list one issue).. all together I have around 20 electric bikes.( beach rentals 5year business) Quality control can be better. Wish they would of stuck with the puncture resistant. I hit a patch of stickers and got two flats. I bought some sealant which has worked good so far

Get a mid drive Danny. Look at Sondors LX or Crusier 2.3 k and worth it! At your size, you’ll appreciate the extra power
I think you'd be fine, I felt there was plenty of room for my 5'11, 185 lb framea
Fortunately throttle modes and power levels are easily tunable, via some youtube videos

Does the electric part disengage when the battery dies? Like, does it feel like a normal fat bike when the electric motor is not on?
Yes
It does but it's heavy so you won't get far even when on the lowest gear

Beyond doubt, Himiway Cruiser is one of the best fat tire ebikes but it is not a mountain bike so such pumpy and rocky roads will damage the battery.
