I bought a Himiway Cruiser three years ago and I just hit 1000 miles on it and the only issue's I've experienced was a flat tire and a striped crankset arm which just happened last weekend. It's a great bike with great power and I'm 230 pounds and I get over 30 miles with pedal assist. Highly recommend
If you hold the button for the lower power assist for two seconds while the bike is powered on it goes into walk mode and you could have walked it right up those stairs. It's a nice feature on the Zebra Himiway bike so it may be on the cruiser as well.
The one problem I have with this bike is I don't think I've seen a single review where the owner actually paid their own money for it. People are going to be naturally more optimistic when they got it for free, which is what Himiway are banking on.
that n they only make a vid of them using it one time wow this ebike i go for freee n used one day was the best ebike ever its so impressive lol yeah every new toy or thing is great at frist epsecially a free toy lol
@@roolio227 eh i know the low ball e bikes that your talking about but this one is different and really has some quality. Only real complaint about it are the brakes.
Thank you for the video. Please consider the damage that may be caused by a rock flying off of the back wheel and into the bike trailer and take precautions to protect your cargo!
I already found a few channels in which Germans has motors in both wheels. They use the bikes to pull a little trailer in which they camp. It got a bed, a heater and solar panels for electricity.
Hee hee, I had a huge grin watching your whole video which was great btw! I bought a cruiser for myself and on the mission to personalize my Ebike of my dreams. Thank you
As someone who stupidly purchased a Ride1Up 700 series, I'm not jumping into any purchases without some major investigating. To that end, if you bought one of these cruiser bikes shortly after writing this comment, how has it held up since you got it? Any issues to report, or things you wish you knew when you first got it?
Great video! Im definitely going to look into this. What i really want to know is how i can get my hands on "Elite"government speed testing equipment.... 😁🤖😎🤔🤫😶👂
I bought a used one with 30 miles on it from a lady .It was way to big for her even as a step threw. I'm 5"7' 200lbs and at 68 it's a beast. If did it again I would probably get a step threw with 20" tires.
I'm exactly the same size as you and just a few years younger at 61. I am going to look at a used one tuesday evening. I was worried this might be a bit big for me as the one I'm going to see is NOT a step through. It's got about 500 miles on it and he's asking a firm $950, but it does have an extra battery which is about $500 by itself. Is it just too hard to get on and off of or does it just feel too big when you ride it? I'm definitely not looking to crash it at my age. LOL
Great review mate, I am about to start my Ebike journey and this was a great resource and starting point. Cruisers are my preferance for what I intend in my area (Brisbane, South East Queensland, Australia) which is ideal with the amount of cycleways and trails to explore. Utah area for crusing looks magic! Hopefully I'll visit one day
This is a great bike. But where i live in the UK, ( a very hilly area ) it sucks for battery life. I get 16.4 miles ( 26.3 km ) on a full battery. The brakes are cheap, so definitely need upgrading. If generally going on flatter ground probably ok. Other than that the bike is great.
I considered getting the Hemingway Cruiser step through because I'm old fat and crippled up. But I'm not sure my butt could handle sitting on that seat so I was kind of looking at some of these e-bikes that have motorcycle type seats. One bites that I really am interested in but it's kind of expensive is the Ariel grizzly 2 but I think they want like $3,000 or $3,500 for that bike. That's a lot of money for me and I don't even know if I could handle writing it but I guess I should test drive one.
I want one and just deciding on which model! I need it to handle regular commutes to work mostly up hill and in all weathers. Also need it for shopping and as a general run-around. I'm a little worried by how heavy it is because I'm a 5.5 woman, so not sure how a smaller framed person would handle. I keep my current hybrid bike in the house as I have no where else to put it but I'm thinking I will need to buy a hut for this baby! 😂

God's dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. I hope you soak this in. God bless.
Maybe popular because of the hundreds of thousands in advertisement plastered everywhere? I would buy the 52v 20 amp 1000 watt motor bikes for the extra $100- $200.. One with two sided chain guard and a wrack that has bars on it. One that goes over 30 on flat ground.😁 Great show! Thanks for the info.. If you use throttle and stand on the pedals like off road on a dirt bike you don't need to worry about bumps on the seat ..
I was going to say I don't see anything special about This bike other than the big battery. It also seems to be copied or the same bike but rebranded with many different name brands but nobody points this out. It also looks a bit like a cruiser bike up until the handle bars which look pretty stock and only one boring matte black colour. What do you recommend instead. I'm having a hard time figuring out what to get
Hello, does your break squeaks a lot when you are slowly breaking? I just got one, but i dont like that my breaks squeaks a lot. Let me know if you have a fix for this. Thank you
I have the German version of this bike with about 2000km over the past year. Mixed feelings about it. The German version is 250w motor and limited to 25 kmh and throttle assist only to 6 kmh. Kind of gay compared to the full powered U.S. version but still fun. Struggles on really steep hills, a pig to ride with pedal assist off and I have to constantly adjust the brakes.
Your experience sounds just the same as me. But I'm in the UK. I get 16.4 miles out of a full battery, and the brakes suck. I've gone for a hard compound brake pad, and luckily they are OK. I was changing them every 500mi ( currently just over 2000mi now ). 250w also sucks, but I'm looking at a newer bike with crazy mileage it can do.
Will they make their ebike with more than 750 and a larger power battery. I would like to be able to go 40-60 mph and 200 miles before needing charge. Of course 200 mile range would be at a slower speed like 35-40 mph.
Thats an electric motorcycle, legally it has a different class, you need an m class license in ny. An e bike with a motor that shuts down at 20 mph you dont need a license.
Thanks for caring. I have a lot of videos I have filmed but never uploaded. Life has been rough for me the last 6 years. I may explain in a future video but I don’t particularly like making videos focusing on myself. I get offered multiple products daily. It’s rare that I accept one for a video. 6 years ago I was doing a daily vlog plus posting on two other YT channels. Wasn’t easy. I couldn’t maintain that pace. Since then I posted several vids on TT but that platform is a bit weird. I don’t know what to think about it.
@@AdamDIY thank you for this video and you're honest review. I particularly liked your honesty regarding doing a review based on your own personal belief system and the product living up to your standard. My friend bought this E bike less than a year ago and to my surprise he is upgrading and offered it to me for 600 less than he paid, it's not even dirty yet that's how little he drove it (basically down at his vacation house on the beach) so I'm excited to have and ride my first E bike and it lives up to your review. Thank you. I hope life gets better for you soon. Take care.
Not sure why this is called an e-bike. It's clearly an e-moped. Much like my old Motobecane Mobylette, fun, inexpensive transportation while the motor is running - but not something you'd want to pedal more than half a mile without power. Run out of gas or battery on either one, and you'll be calling a friend with a truck. These bikes seem popular in North America, which has an SUV mentality - in Asian and European markets, these rolling BarcaLoungers are scarce, with riders preferring actual e-bikes - that you can pedal if you need (or want) to.

I have the same , dont forget this is a dollar store ebike , in no way near a giant or trek regarding price and quality
