Personally for a modern classic it's not as bad as other car's.
Normally once their repaired, they stay that way ! Can think of a few that don't !

Yo Quickshift, The front end work you did looks excellent and is so much more correct for your year car. I have an 84 in red, and am trying to grind off a ton of rhino liner the previous owner painted the lower front bumper with. Such a time drain. Keep it going. If you wanna talk 944 stuff, reach out. I basically have the same car in red, and in similar shape. Did front bushings and replaced old struts with Bilstein B6s. Need to do the rear this summer.
I'd love to pick your brain about the power steering and AC comp. You somehow have your car running nice and smooth with no whine sound. Mine, and almost every other on YT has this high pitch annoying whine. Almost sounds like the power steering belt is rubbing or trying too hard to move the power steering pump's mechanism.. but I don't know enough about it. Reach out if you don't mind.

Thank you for all the kind words! On my car, the whining sound was actually due to the balance shaft belt being on too tight. It's a really common 944 error

You didnt reinstall a shifter boot? Isnt it important?
How tall are you? You seem to fit in it just fine
How many special tools did you have to buy for this one and how much did you spend on parts total?
The only special tool I had to get was an alignment rod for the oil cooler- but I probably spent several thousand in total on all the parts.
@@QuickshiftCars That's not "budget", is it? "Several thousands" could mean $3K~$9K, basically. That's more than that car was worth, probably. Unfortunately!
