Hey guys! Wanted to make a correction. We thought the instrument Jisoo was playing was a Gayageum but its actually a Geomungo (거문고). They look similar and sound similar but are completely different instruments. Sorry for the misinformation 😅🙏❤️

I'm not a Blink but I try to keep up with Blackpink music. This is one of their best songs. I said what I said. The sassiness of that chorus is badass and sexy at the same time. And do I need to say more about all the other elements of the song ? They're perfect
A lot of "blonks/haters" were complaining about the lyrics being nonsense or t'was lazily written but you guys explained it line by line w/c really clarified the whole meaning of the song. I always wait for your reaction video to dive deeper about it and I am absolutely blown away! Thank you so much, Andy and Jas!
Because this song has a lot of puns, double entendres and references (esp old school hip hop) which is a bit harder to translate without explaining/knowing/understanding the context. Not to mention Teddy and the gang always looooveee to take advantage of using both languages in doing word plays so for an english speaker who doesn't know much of the korean language and its nuisances and only relying on the sub, it'e our loss. Altho the sub is also not at fault cause, again, they cannot just put all the references to put everything in context.

I'm not a blink nor a casual listener but honestly i was really awaiting this and i'm impressed with this comeback!
They're experimenting more with their concept and beats, each person got to completely shine, the chorus was like an anti drop kinda thing which's quite a nice touch and huge change from their usual loud in your face title tracks (not the biggest fan of the lyrics) ^^
Although Jisoo's parts in here are not AS different regarding the lines she got to sing, but i believe it's really her era and she shined the most ^^
And the dynamic we got in this video from the rappers is really good!

Lisa talks about "killing" bodies (like Rambo) basically saying they're killing you. Something evil.
Yet Jennie talks about "bodies on bodies like this is slowdance" like 2 bodies pressed on each other while doing a slowdance. It's romantic, and makes you feel so in love. Something beautiful.
Basically saying that they can either make you feel so special or could kill you in an instant. Like Pink (a very feminine and beautiful color) Venom (a very dark and scary thing).
