You're right. The fandom becomes quite toxic it's hard to engage anymore. And there's actually a lot of hate thrown at this comeback since it's release, some of those people even start their dissing with "I'm a blink but ..." saying, like, the hook is underwhelming, or it's repetitive, or not worth the wait, and so many stuff. Somebody here in TH-cam who considers herself as a "professional 🤡" filmmaker, choreographer sht or smth, even went as far as calling the song "trash", "earbleeding", and "the worst song".
I mean, if you don't like how it sounds then just say you don't like the song and go. Or if the group doesn't satisfy you anymore, then stop engaging with whatever they put out, right? 🤷♀️

And I would say that in most cases, it's probably safe to assume that they aren't even being honest. So many of the long-term antis and haters always think they're being clever by claiming to be a "blink, but [insert all kinds of messed up hater crap]...". yeah...I with my other irl blink friends while watching pink venom and when I said I don't really like it as much but they slayed but then all of them keep calling me a fake "blink" it hurts as I been a blink longer than them. I am not going on twitter anymore except if it’s for important reasons like votes. Toxicity is too loud in kpop they have no mercy. Some people won’t accept kpop is expending and makes room for more artists. Lot of people treat blackpink as if they didn’t deserve or earn their fame I have never seen that much toxicity. I love TH-cam because it’s safer to be a blink. However I have an issue about some PINK VENOM reactions… if you don’t like a song just say “I don’t like it” or make a decent comment don’t become a freaking philosopher and don’t make a powerpoint to explain why you don’t. They took the disliking so far it became an irrelevant hate. I am really frustrated because I don’t see it often outside the “kpop world”. pink venom is just a song you like it or not that’s on you chill but be respectful. Too bad YG doesn't bring out all of Blackpink's potential. I love the girls but their discography is not developed enough for me to be able to become a blink. The management at YG is both atrocious and clever. BP's debut was a hit and they got a lot of attention real fast. YG rode on this wave as much as they could and when there was a comeback, they went all out with the production and the visuals of the mv. Thing is, the comebacks are too far apart and people sometimes get mad over it while YG keeps sabotaging the girls in order to build a ridiculous amount of hype. But why would YG do things differently ? They go all out for the few songs BP do come out with, they become bangers and attract a lot of viewership and YG can ride on the success of one song for a long ass time without needing to invest in producing more music for the girls. The girls remain extremely popular between comebacks so YG gets them contracts with a bunch of brands to keep the money flowing. I mean, it's legit genius : YG only needs to go all out for a few songs in order to maintain hype without actually doing anything in between. I'm just afraid of a day when even Blinks get fed up with this though....this could end up being Blackpnk's downfall so I hope they are properly back with management fully on their side !
the reason for this is that their music appeals to the masses more than the 4th gen groups. i don't like any of the 4th gen female groups. i gave them a chance but nahhhhh. also, male groups dominate Kpop. why? the majority of fans are women and women mostly like male groups. look at Worldwide Fan's Choice of MAMA 2021. in top 20, 13 are male groups. female groups = 4 and 3 female soloists. it's not easy for female group to be popular, and 1 will be more popular than the others

There may be a few (very few) blinks who don't like it much. But I doubt they would go around hating on it publicly. My guess is that around 99% of the people who claim to "hate" it are just the usual fans of other groups who see Blackpink as a rival to their faves and hate Blackpink for taking the spotlight away from their faves. It's really quite a standard tactic for those types to pretend like they are "disappointed Blinks" or pretend that they are just random people who have no prejudice against Blackpink. Most of the time, if you get a chance to question them, it doesn't take long before they reveal that they are fans of another group and they want Blackpink to fail.

The toxic element of both Army and Blinks are poison. Yesterday they demanded that Teddy get fired I mean who the hell do they think they are. Army totally disrespected Finneas Eilish. RM and Hobie were at the Billie Eillish concert in Seoul and were getting their photo took with them both. Army decided to photoshop Finneas out and replace him with TXT members who were also at the concert but didn't get a photo opportunity and all because Finneas said something the army did not like.
Finneas retweeted a xenophobic comment towards bts, so maybe the way some army handled the situation is a bit immature but their dislike for him is warranted.

all i ever hear is "I want more Jennie rapping" or "I want JenLisa rap more: and then this song comes out with a short JenLisa verse before Jisoo and Rose verses lead us into the chorus and a second JenLisa rap verse which resembles the 80s rap sound and way more deadly then the first.
Rose' looks like a black widow in her part ready to devour her mate and Jisoo slays her verses. They all did an incredible job on this comeback
I love the 90s rap homage that jenlisa did and that boombox weighs 20lb and the Lisa vocal part was homage to Rhianna pon de replay. Lisa is also a huge fan of vintage clothing so the 90s culture is right up her alley. And I loved jisoo beginning of the song she learned how to play that traditional Korean instrument. And Rosie does well with the rocker chick vibe

Not sure why I watched one of your reactions, and at first I was put off by your 'swagger' but then I realized that you pushed me and made me think and feel in good ways. Seeing your editor friend and you react to a Black Pink video made me see it- you are an artist. Most reactors aren't, no offense to them. But seeing an artist respond with respect and admiration and inspiration to other artists isn't the norm on TH-cam. And hearing you dig into rap has shown me tons.
This BP video is a strange mashup in ways. Jisoo has Lisa's bangs. Jenny kicks in Lisa's door from Kill This Love. All mixed up. All sorts of echos of past videos. Past songs. And personal pasts. Like they are summing up their past but not as if it is done but that it is all what put them in this moment and what will be moving them forward. Their integrity, their honesty in being who they are, is inspiring. I am not even certain if this song is meant as anything other than a prelude, an introduction. One of those screen crawl back stories that starts old movies. The real songs next month should be a trip.

Thank u for appreciating their music some dislikes it. Others labeled it terrible as if they can do better. It still depends on each ones preference in music but respect to those who love this type of music plus the fact that they gave new taste to the music against to the previous hard beat chorus we are used to listening.
