Maybe things go different if he rests and lets us lose 2 games instead of playing hurt in 10 of them
The Bills, though it might be more difficult now, need to finish the job. Nearly all their losses last year, with the exception of maybe Jacksonville, came from failing to finish or prevent a game winning drive at the end. The two divisional round losses to KC were because the Bills didn't finish them off. They just can't play a full 60 when it matters most.
We got Bo Nix at the perfect spot. The Raiders probably would’ve grabbed him if we didn’t, so it wasn’t worth it to try to trade down for him. Plus, if you have your guy, you have your guy - people thought the Chiefs reached for Mahomes, now look at them.
I was just glad someone didn’t say anything about the Commander’s oline being a massive need. Now, the remark about being not sure about the on field product being an improvement is a bit of a head scratcher. Got rid of college football’s most sacked QB in a 3 seasons(mostly his own fault) span out of DC, replaced the turnstile known as Nick Gates with a very solid combination of Stromberg and Biadasz(learned from one of the best ever in Travis Fredrick), signed some massive free agent upgrades, and drafted a ton of steals of the draft. What we need is the players who’ve been losing here for years to actually be about business rather than talking about it in the postgame
Yeah his commanders take was terrible considering how basically everyone on that team looked like they were out of any hope and were just sad in general(usually doesn't happen even for losing teams). Think commanders might get to 6-7 wins this year if team morale is good which rivera couldn't do
It's hilarious watching opposition fans convince themselves the refs help the Chiefs and that's why they are so successful. I'll clear it up for you, it's down to having a guy at QB who is miles ahead of any other player at his position.
@@mathewjones8886 except for Lamar. Lamar's record is almost as good as Mahomes, wout the weapons Mahomes has had. Mahomes is better, but by inches. btw, the championship game this year? neither Mahomes nor Lamar played well, and neither was the reason for who won.
I hate this talking point that Jefferson might leave, He has said or done nothing to indicate that, in fact he's said the opposite every time he's been at the podium. Saying that the Vikings have to be worried at all about keeping him long-term seems like a cop out and kinda lazy. Even the GM has come out and basically said they'll give him whatever he wants and that the only reason they haven't signed him yet is because they didn't want it to be overshadowed by the draft and free agency.
Hearing a Patriots fans hate the Chiefs is *chef's kiss* everyone in the AFC from 2001-2019 felt the same unless they had Manning, Roethlisberger, or the Ravens defense.
Cardinals need depth on the O-Line. Depth on the D-Line and help in the secondary. Maybe another RB because Conner doesn’t look like he’s slowing down but he will eventually and our backups aren’t ready yet and forcing Kyler to run can be risky.
As a Dolphins fan, i say screw moving somewhere cold. We should move to the AFC South. Trade places with the Colts. They're closer to New York and Massachusetts anyway. Then Miami would face the Jags, Titans and Texans. 2/3rd of the Florida teams could face off twice a year. Also why the Tua hate? Is it cause the Patriots never beat him?
i don't think anthony richardson neeeds to learn to run, his injuries were a hit from behind while he was already over the goal line that gave him a concussion and a guy falling on him wrong on a play that wasn't even a run iirc
Doing a packers, taking a QB who’s not ready to start, but has the ability and can sit behind a genuine starter for a couple of years then hit the ground running, not a dumb move in any way, it’s why the Packers have had good QB play for 20 years straight

Yea I'm very wait and see right now, everyone saw the 180/4 yr contact but a lot of people don't realize we can cut him after two with very low dead cap from it so we do have outs and options after year two
Pfuh! As the Last Justin Fields believer I _wish_ he was even just remotely competent. Smith has been interviewed as to what his coaching philosophies are. It's actually incredible how clear-spoken he is on the subject. He doesn't do any of those things he *says* are his philosophy. "We are teachers first." His QBs are so out of synch with their QBs it's clear they never practice the routes they use in games. "Running is the core of the offense. Unless I'm feeling like a spoiled 14-year-old girl & decide I want to bench Bijan Robinson for no particular reason." He couldn't tell his QBs were out of synch let alone why? Russ has led the league in passes behind the LOS *5 straight years* because he can't see over his o-line. Where does Smith send almost all his routes? He's going to stare at the field but not know what went wrong, same as he's done with his last 3 QBs.
The Commies didnt mess up their pick. JD5 is a better passer than anyone in the draft and is agruably the best rusher in the draft as well. Obviously the Commies need to protect him and keep him healthy, but JD5 is a better QB than Maye.
As a Packers fan Jordan seems like such a good cool dude. This last year during the season Green Bay got some snow and a ladys car got stuck in the snow, Jordan got out and tried helping her get out. He wasn’t able to and she didn’t want him to get injured so they stopped but he seems like a really good dude off the field too. I’m also excited how that 49ers game ended because it happened while he was still young and a learning experience. He knows not to do that again now so I think it’s a pretty bright future for them and many other teams
Gotta agree with Bran about the Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence, dude had an impressive set of weapons on offense with Kirk and Engram and Ridley. With Travis E doing good work as the lead back and good check down guy in the passing attack. But it seems like he just won't or can't make a Joe Burrow style leap in his development into a playmaker with his arm and his football IQ.
There was a whole set up planned between vikes eags (at least I think it was eagles) broncos and raiders to- Vikings take McCarthy Raiders take Penix Broncos trade back with eagles to hopefully get Nix in round 2. Then Atlanta fucking happened...it left Denver no choice but to take Nix, or else Raiders might have taken Nix instead, so Denver had no choice but to use the 12th overall on Nix. I get the critique, but being so hard on the pick when we had no choice but to take it or lose it. Cause I can fucking guarantee that the argument would be flipped if we didn't take him and he went somewhere else. "WhY dIdNt DeNvEr TaKe NiX?¿"
I said this in the short abou tthe Broncos but I'll say it again. The Broncos didn't over pay for Nix. Teams had a 2nd round grade because that was the demand for Nix. The Bears, Commanders, Patriots, Vikings Broncos, and Raiders all needed a QB. That's 6 teams and there so happened to be 6 good QBs in the draft. That means the last team that needed one could instead spend their a 1st rounder on a different need and the last QB would still be there in the 2nd round. However since Atlanta decided to steal Penix after signing Kirk, this now meant there was 5 QBs for the 6 aforementioned teams. Now the Broncos had to take Nix because the Raider would either take him the pick after, or they were gonna take him in the 2nd round since the Broncos didn't have a 2nd round pick. The Broncos also have a lot needs so trading up to get him would lose them even more picks that they don't really have.
They overpaid based on his ability. He's gonna make Russel Wilson look competent and by the end of this season even Denver fans will recognise how much of a reach it was to waste the 12th overall pick on a project QB with very limited ability.
As a Chiefs fan who watched the Patriots dominate in two different dynasty eras I appreciate you telling everyone to stop the Chiefs...it brings me great joy.
Notes on the Bengals eval: Signed an actual giant at RT, Drafted a freak of nature for RT in the draft in case their injury prone giant goes down, Burrow doesnt get blindsided=Burrow stays healthy
I kind of agree with Denver as I’m a Den fan. However the Rams have come out and said they would have considered Bo at their pick and there is no telling if Vegas wanted them so there were teams. Having said that, I think this year will show they got a steal in Bo and taking him at 12 won’t look dumb.
The problem with the turf at MetLife is that they don’t want to because it costs more money to have natural grass and then more money to maintain that grass. It’s really dumb and with the Jets playing Week 1 against the 49ers, I’m really worried.
All the Vikings need is Jefferson to stay? Man i was hoping for more. Any chance of you doing a deeper dive on each division? Also Jeffersons Agent is famous for making all of his biggest, deals Burrow and Bosa, in July. Pretty par for the course of him to wait this long.
As a rams and broncos fan here are my hopes/needs for this upcoming season. Rams:have our young defense take the next step. AD is not replaceable but if Kobie turner, Jared verse, Byron young, and Braden fiske can create monstrous pressure all year we will be serious threats. Broncos: Hope Sean Payton was right on Bo Nix and we become a 8-10 win team in our first year. With us drafting nix in the first and having a sneaky good wr room I hope Payton can prove to the nfl why he loved Bo nix so much. Having Nix's wr from college should be great chemistry and a good o line will keep him upright. Assuming Nix is the guy we as a team can focus on defense next draft to help PS2 become an even bigger monster!
I thought the same thing about the Bills getting bullied by the Chiefs in 3 playoff appearances, but then I remembered that the Bills love to do things in fours.
As a Commander's fan, I have really liked what the Harris group has done so far. Look, EVERYONE wanted Ben Johnson, but he decided he didn't want to take on a total team rebuild AND he would be leaving a playoff team that is good enough to make another deep run. When we got Roberts I was ecstatic, when we got Quinn I was ... basically MEH. BUT....I have watched player after player come here, and the main reason they did was BECAUSE of Quinn...and when we got Bobby Wagner I started to see that those that came with him said that he was one of the best coaches they ever had. We will see if the (really good looking on paper) staff can come together and at least get us to .500 or close this year. I loved our draft, gave it a B+. I just want us to get back to being competitive. I am tired of my team being an automatic W on everyone's season schedule.
I am a lifelong Packers fan, so I can't pin down just one need for my team. 1) Stop spending first round picks on defensive backs that never get a second contract! It doesn't matter if their name is Eric Stokes, Darnell Savage, Damarious Randall, Ha-Ha Clinton Dix, Ahmad Carroll, the only exception so far is Jaire Alexander! 2) How about drafting a wide receiver in the first round? They haven't done it since 2002! Just a few first round wide receivers with rings: Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, Torry Holt, Mike Evans, Art Monk, Paul Warfield, Willie Gault, Santonio Holmes, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne...Green Bay could have one too, but they have to draft one in order for it to happen.
We don't need a wide receiver right now lmao. We have 5 studs who could all be Super Stars. They are in their 3rd and 2nd years, and they just need a chance. I'd much rather improve our defense, where we've been lacking the last 20 years
Well you know Trevor was just fine b4 injuries.. The middle of the o line was getting destroyed and so was he.. Kirk was mid before he got out of Arizona in which he was behind D Hop and AJ green. Also Look for Gabe Davis to be better without worrying about Diggs who demands targets alot.
@@KentaeJames yup. Everyone thought he was cooked before he got here and he’s been awesome. Would like to see them use him more in the red zone that would help some of the issues we had there.
As Steelers fan, I think all we need to do is get one more WR and be competent enough to start either Ryan Watts or Beanie Bishop over Donte Jackson in the regular season.
I think the lesson of CJ Stroud vs. Bryce Young is "pick the better pocket passer, even if they happen to have the arguably best wide receiver room in all of football" (Jaxson Smith-Njigma, Garrett Wilson, and Chris Olave on a college team is so not fair). This will be true until someone picks a CJ Stroud type ahead of a Bryce Young type, and the unorthodox creator is going to ball out while the pocket passer is going to get planted in the dirt every other play. Because, you know, football.
On top of the Seahawks needing MacDonald to pan out, they really need Ryan Grubb to step up and make their offense less predictable. No clue how much was Pete's influence or just Waldron not being as dynamic as expected, but Seattle's offensive scheme and gameplanning have not been particularly impressive the last few years. When the running game isn't working, they have 0 solutions. With their skill position players, I'm really hoping to see an improvement this year.

I think a more accurate jasg thing would be 1. WRs need to stop dropping TDs and 2. Someone needs to tell Trevor when to sit down. He was playing hurt since week 7 against the saints and he didnt rest until he was literally forced to in week 17. Maybe things go different if he rests and lets us lose 2 games instead of playing hurt in 10 of them
Seahawks biggest need is to work on their defense
The Bills, though it might be more difficult now, need to finish the job. Nearly all their losses last year, with the exception of maybe Jacksonville, came from failing to finish or prevent a game winning drive at the end. The two divisional round losses to KC were because the Bills didn't finish them off. They just can't play a full 60 when it matters most.
It's weird, the Tua Hate. Until I remember that Bran is a Pats fan.
he was extra hard on the dolphins and hateful towards em. He may as well just rebrand to a patriots channel
can we do this same episode now that were mid season and a lot of trades/injuries have changed much of these needs lol
We got Bo Nix at the perfect spot. The Raiders probably would’ve grabbed him if we didn’t, so it wasn’t worth it to try to trade down for him. Plus, if you have your guy, you have your guy - people thought the Chiefs reached for Mahomes, now look at them.
The rams would have also taken nix.
Nah raiders were all in on penix and Daniel’s
He's a Pats fan. I was wondering why he doesn't know anything about the NFCE.
Yeah his commanders take was terrible considering how basically everyone on that team looked like they were out of any hope and were just sad in general(usually doesn't happen even for losing teams). Think commanders might get to 6-7 wins this year if team morale is good which rivera couldn't do

Oh the situation in Minnesota is a dumpster fire after yesterday
The chiefs biggest need is for the refs to call holding on them even once in the playoffs. Somehow, the Chiefs magically never hold in the playoffs.
It's hilarious watching opposition fans convince themselves the refs help the Chiefs and that's why they are so successful. I'll clear it up for you, it's down to having a guy at QB who is miles ahead of any other player at his position.

I love how people think that Kelce is the reason why the brotherly shove is successful when it’s actually Dickerson being the main focal point.
Yeah, Jalen almost always went left going between Landon and Jordan, but I still think opposing defenses are getting better at stopping it
People think that because plays like that don’t work without a good center. If the guys next to the point man aren’t tight to him that play fails

Hearing a Patriots fans hate the Chiefs is *chef's kiss* everyone in the AFC from 2001-2019 felt the same unless they had Manning, Roethlisberger, or the Ravens defense.
In the words of Pacheco, “Ain’t no relaxing!” How about those chiefs!
Cardinals need depth on the O-Line. Depth on the D-Line and help in the secondary. Maybe another RB because Conner doesn’t look like he’s slowing down but he will eventually and our backups aren’t ready yet and forcing Kyler to run can be risky.
calling jayden Daniels a mistake in retrospect is so funny lmao
As a Dolphins fan, i say screw moving somewhere cold. We should move to the AFC South. Trade places with the Colts. They're closer to New York and Massachusetts anyway. Then Miami would face the Jags, Titans and Texans. 2/3rd of the Florida teams could face off twice a year. Also why the Tua hate? Is it cause the Patriots never beat him?

Falcons, figure out what the hell we're doing
Arthur Smith is the offensive version of Dan Quinn, mediocre and more suited as a coordinator
Doing a packers, taking a QB who’s not ready to start, but has the ability and can sit behind a genuine starter for a couple of years then hit the ground running, not a dumb move in any way, it’s why the Packers have had good QB play for 20 years straight
@@TheGalantHamburger if it was someone established here I would agree with you, but new qb on a new team coming off a severe injury in the twilight of his career, I'm not a fan of it but we'll see
@@Lordgenome944 Kirk definitely has questions to answer, and fast, and to be honest, I’ve only ever seen him as mid at best, one play off win is NOT enough.

Unless I'm feeling like a spoiled 14-year-old girl & decide I want to bench Bijan Robinson for no particular reason."
He couldn't tell his QBs were out of synch let alone why? Russ has led the league in passes behind the LOS *5 straight years* because he can't see over his o-line. Where does Smith send almost all his routes? He's going to stare at the field but not know what went wrong, same as he's done with his last 3 QBs.
The Commies didnt mess up their pick. JD5 is a better passer than anyone in the draft and is agruably the best rusher in the draft as well. Obviously the Commies need to protect him and keep him healthy, but JD5 is a better QB than Maye.

Bleak Vikings outlook? Do you know anything about this team other than Justin Jefferson’s contract situation?
Fun fact "Nix" means "nothing" in German so if your saying the Broncos overpaid for nix you're saying they overpaid for nothing 😂

The Jags front office needs to stop overpaying for skill players.
As a long time Colts fan I think he's right. If Richardson stays healthy, we'll contend.
Also, I live in Georgia so I hear it from the Falcon jerks. Good luck bird brains, you'll need to score at least 30 a game to have a chance to win.
I will say this in the Broncos defense, they didn't have a 2nd round pick. So they'd need to hope Nix fell to the 3rd round.
There was a whole set up planned between vikes eags (at least I think it was eagles) broncos and raiders to-
Vikings take McCarthy
Raiders take Penix
Broncos trade back with eagles to hopefully get Nix in round 2.
If miami comes to cincy in the playoffs yeah it gets cold here. very.
Dude!!!! Bo Nix is gonna be the best QB from this draft!! The Broncos definitely didn’t overpay for him
On his best day he might just be the 3rd best QB in the division. Good luck with that.
Notes on the Bengals eval: Signed an actual giant at RT, Drafted a freak of nature for RT in the draft in case their injury prone giant goes down, Burrow doesnt get blindsided=Burrow stays healthy
It'll take more than that to keep frigile Joe healthy for a full season. At the moment he only ends 50% of the seasons he actually starts.
I kind of agree with Denver as I’m a Den fan. However the Rams have come out and said they would have considered Bo at their pick and there is no telling if Vegas wanted them so there were teams. Having said that, I think this year will show they got a steal in Bo and taking him at 12 won’t look dumb.
Tank Dell came off injury and got shot in Florida just before workouts started hopefully he’s on the field during Pre Season I wanna see him play
The problem with the turf at MetLife is that they don’t want to because it costs more money to have natural grass and then more money to maintain that grass. It’s really dumb and with the Jets playing Week 1 against the 49ers, I’m really worried.
Man said Commanders is a bad vibe again, brah we having a good time what Josh and AP is doing.🔥
All the Vikings need is Jefferson to stay? Man i was hoping for more. Any chance of you doing a deeper dive on each division? Also Jeffersons Agent is famous for making all of his biggest, deals Burrow and Bosa, in July. Pretty par for the course of him to wait this long.
The Cardinals won 4 games last season. 3 of those wins came against playoff teams(Philly, Dallas, Pittsburgh).
14:44 idk he seems happy ab it
I thought the same thing about the Bills getting bullied by the Chiefs in 3 playoff appearances, but then I remembered that the Bills love to do things in fours.
