    I love my GT4 and would love to hear that RS engine in it, but it would be hard to drive the GT4RS for anything more than a canyon or track day with that intense volume hitting the ears each day, no matter how glorious the sound is. The 911 GT3 makes that engine more livable on a daily basis. Driving these cars frequently is what makes Porsche ownership so special and makes them truly SUPER cars.

    Gorgeous spec on the 991....911 all day and twice on Sunday. The manual is half of the driving experience!

    Epic comparo! No need to decide. One of each as shown in the video is perfection! The GT4RS punches well above its weight at even $250k - $350k. I spent months comparing it back to back with other cars in this range before pulling the trigger. A true unicorn now on its way to becoming Porsche Legend.

    As someone who has owed 2 PDK gt3, 1 manual, a gt3rs, and now a gt4rs, I can say that the gt3rs is faster, but the Gt4rs is more fun. Haven't taking the 4rs to the track yet, but soon.

    Great review!!! I was in the fortunate position to drive both of these cars a few weeks ago. The GT3 was the 2022 and I drove the GT4RS first and was completely amazed by the sound. Unless you have been in this car to hear the sounds it makes you cannot understand. I also have a 458 with a full exhaust and the GT4RS sounds are on par if not better. I am a tried and true manual driver and am very partial, and the GT3 felt more touring and assisted than the 4RS. Was one of the best manuals I've driven but the 4RS won for me so I took it home! I am also lucky to have the magnesium rims and carbon ceramics too! Love it!!!

    I don't think the people who get the opportunity to buy the GT4RS care that is is more expensive than the older 911 GT. The resale value on the GT4RS in its limited numbers will guarantee its resale value.

    Was waiting on this one. Nicely done. It’s no surprise the 4RS is the pick for many. A closer comparison would be the 991.2 RS. Both PDK and literally identical in front suspension. The steering input may be closer to the 4RS based on owner reviews of the 991.2 RS. The rear wheel steering would may give the edge to the 991.2 RS in the canyon and on track. In any case, you’re the man to get all these cars to the canyons. Stay safe and look forward to the next one.

    4RS every day of the week, there is something very special about the RS models a level of nuance, finesse and feel the standard GT4 or GT3 just don't have. The 991.2 GT3 is a great car the front track is just a bit narrow - the 991.2 GT3 RS really took the 991 series to another level with wider front track and tires giving phenomenal front end grip. The 992.1 GT3 is more or less a footprint and suspension copy of the 991.2 GT3 RS (but with double wishbone front) but the 991.2 GT3 RS remains significantly more visceral and engaging. TBH the 992 GT3 RS isn't much different, marginally quicker on fast open circuits.

    • @onlinesearch4134
      @onlinesearch4134 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it would be a tough choice performance wise between the 991.2 RS and the 4RS. It may just come down to a few personal preferences: intake vs exhaust sound, visibility while driving, exterior looks, stance, etc.

    • @VK6AB-
      @VK6AB- ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@onlinesearch4134 I like both, the footprint of the 4RS "feels" significantly smaller - gives it a real sense of intimacy. They both feel and look special, very attached to my 991.2 GT3 RS - has real "presence" 😀

  • @DC5Brandon

    As good as the GT4RS is, it's still missing a manual, shorter gearing, and double wishbone to be perfect. Sadly, I doubt Porsche will build another generation with an internal combustion engine to make those adjustments.

    • @blazinpond
      @blazinpond ปีที่แล้ว +1
