Ive tried a bunch of note taking apps, and just keep coming back to Notability. I was a little disappointed when they went to a subscription model, but it has proven to be totally worth it. As a teacher, it is invaluable to me. Not only for organization, but also as a way to share outlines of information with the students.
I perfectly agree!! I mean, the subscription model is a definite drawback but the app comes packed with so many tools that it balances it out in my opinion.
I’ve tried different note taking apps and I just keep coming back to notability. Their organization is simple yet powerful, their inking is more fluid and comfortable (I find it way better than the default one), and the costumization is great (including templates). It is an app I would recommend.
Thank you for the informative video. I use Notability every day with my students and to keep my personal and professional life organized and you still were able to give me tips I did not know!
Great video. I subscribed but I do have a question. I notice that the subjects I make on desktop notability don't transfer over to my ipad air(10th gen) Am I saving something wrong? When I go into notes all is the same but I would like to have subjects and notebook to look the same along all devices. If you have a video on this please link and I will watch. thank you.
I am currently using Notability for my note-taking and am planning to print my notes for better accessibility. However, I am unsure about the optimal grid distance to use when writing my notes to ensure they are legible once printed. Could you please advise on the recommended grid distance or any specific settings I should consider to avoid issues with readability? I want to ensure that the printed notes are clear and easy to read.
Unfortunately, there's is no definite rule for this. I'd recommend you try adjust the grid so your page is perfectly legible your iPad screen without having to zoom. Print one page, and adapt if necessary.
Ola João I’m a beginner in this digital planing/notes. I have notability and goodnotes. Wich on do you think it’s bedder ? Do you have too a video from goodnotes? Thanks for you help.
Olá Andreia, I do have a video like this on Goodnotes, AND a Goodnotes vs Notability video as well. It's from a year ago, but still gives a bg overview of both apps and their most important features. Feel free to check them out on our channel, and come back with any questions if you're still hesitant :)
I’m studying piano and I import PDF music sheets into the app. However, sometimes the music sheets are images. The problem I have with importing images is when I write on it to take notes the image may move. How can I set the image onto my template so it doesn’t move?
I subscribed and I used the AI in this app for about 3 days and then the app does not summarize my pdf or give multiple choice questions like the beginning😢and I don’t know why or how to fix that
Hi. Thank you for the video. Does Notability support bidirectional links yet (where you can link within notebooks or different pages of your notebook? Thank you.
Hi I have a query people claim that goodnotes take large file size than notability is it true? And is there any way to do hyperlink just like goodnotes in notability or are they rolling out infuture?
It’s the best note taking App available so far. I just hate how my handwriting looks like in this one. What about Nebo? Do you have any considerations about it?
Notability It is GREAT indeed. As for Nebo, I think it's a great alternative. It has a great free version you can try, and is more affordable than GoodNotes or Notability. It's a pretty good alternative if you're on a budget 🙃
Hi hi! We also have a blog post that delves into 13 of the best notetaking apps in the App Store. It breaks down the coolest features, main limitations, and important details so you can decide which app is best for you: paper.me/notetakingapps
Hi, Love Notability. Have a question, I want to make a notebook with a specific template. I want to open the notebook and the template is there already. No need to import every time.
Hey, that is possible 🙃 In your Library, go to Settings > Document > Default Template > Edit to set a default template which will automatically apply to all new notes.
Sorry I think notes sucks rocks! Truly. The organization is the most bizarre and illogical. For example to create a folder which I would like to nest other notes in, choose iCloud and smart check check check, check, check, check done. But nooo it says you must select a folder. Already did that! So I check quick notes which seem to satisfy the programmer. So I busy myself creating major folders like household projects, legal, to do list, aviation, photography, and whatever interest and main category that my life is divided into. Now you guys say it simple just press down and hover and select move all right and none of those categories that I have just created is allowed to be moved into come on get real. It certainly does not act like my image file hierarchy. What gives?
Bro.. You're saying 10 hacks and the video was done two months ago! Most of what you're saying is already known! What's new features you brought it to the Notability users?!🧐

Hey there, unfortunately there's no solution for this. It's a limitation within Apple Notes itself. Hopefully, it'll get corrected with a future update

Exporting Apple Notes to PDF cuts off handwritten notes (in Ipad)
Is there any solution for this?..
I exported from Notability to Apple Notes 😊
Olha um tuga na Paperlike
the one and only! O sotaque não engana ☺
