Appreciate this comment so much... A lot of creators never show the set backs and downfalls of projects and only share the positive stuff, I really want to stay transparent with everyone and honestly its been a rough road with this project but we're so close.

You can delete the CBEA balancer shaft module and swap to the CJAA oil pump with chain. Several people make kits. Should be able to do it with the engine still in the car.
U know what? I was just searching the differences between my engine (CBDC tdi 110hp) and the CBBB because I'm about to swap a gt1549vz in it. I think the CBDC Doesn't have that balancer shaft for the oil pump wich should make it more reliable. There's also delete kits for your issue

That's my plan for my CBEA, especially after seeing this vid. Usually the hex shaft between the oil pump and BSM leaves the chat.

Holy crap! You are either very lucky or very unlucky. Depending on how you look at it. Hope the bearings are OK. Did you shut it down right away?
Yeah I shut it down about 2 seconds after hearing the noise, haven’t dug into the bearings yet but we’ll see hopefully they are ok
How much Power and Nm ?
It was making 240WHP and 400WTQ before doing bigger injectors (un dyno’d)
Just put an oil pump with chain from PD tdi :)
