Situated about 3.3 km from the Ring Road of Kathmandu, this park boasts an exact area of 1.3 sq km, extending to a large area of Thankot. Park offers you a beautiful view with the angelic green sod and picnic spot. It is the best place to enjoy the serene environment with greenery beauty. It lies in the shade of the Chandragiri Hills.It is the first most developed picnic and tourism spot for domestic tourists.

This is a very popular picnic spot. It’s also a big park with just to go around and have fun in peace and tranquillity especially when it’s not holiday or Saturday. The park lies right on the highway and is about 20 minutes ride from kalanki which isn’t bad at all. You can also see chandragiri hills from the park. You can relax at this park after the cable car ride at chandragiri. Please watch the video to see how Park looks. I have old memories and attachments to this park so for me it’s extra special.
