- The LCS is back! After a brief hiatus, the teams are back at the studio for LCS Face Off and another new episode of PROS!
This week, C9 Jojopyun, TL Impact, and FLY Inspired join Raz for an Evil Geniuses reunion to recap Week 5 of the LCS. I’ve been waiting for the Jojo episode and it’s a great surprise to have Inspired and Impact on the same one! I always enjoy how they all talk highly about each other while having no issues roasting each others mistakes. I also really like how they still hype up Danny.
I love how they fondly speak about Danny
It's such a fucking crime what EG management did to that kid
I hope Danny finds his love for League again. From what I heard, he doesn't really play anymore. And I worry that expectations for him would be too high for him to return. Still, I think the fans have a lot of love for him and it would be so exciting.
Danny was a beast. and he was so young
Watching that EG team win LCS and that Danny Pentakill in person in Houston was an insane moment. One of my favorite teams ever 💯

this is easily the best Pro’s episode. please continue getting together players who have been teammates in the past, makes the chemistry way better!!
jojopyun has such a mature view on feedback. no wonder hes grown so much and done so well ever since hes debut. respect
my favorite part of these are when the players talk about each other and other players very pointedly and in depth, more than just generic team/standings talk or meta talk. love it!
I like how Jojo was willing to go to bat for his teammates when they were criticized. you can kinda get a sense of how that 2022 EG roster would function with Jojo somewhat balancing out Impact/Inspired's bluntness
What I took away from this:
Jojo matured fast and takes criticism better than anyone could expect, Inspired not playing on a team last year should be a criminal offense he came off the smartest in the whole league off this interview, and Impact is gonna be around until season 20 because he knows everyone is bad and he knows win conditions.
This is still the best content ever made holy it smurfs
2022 EG...what could have been man
true man. That was such a fantastic roster. They would've go so far at Worlds if only EG didn't fluked their all time great roster
2 of the best NA prospects in mid and adc, support mastermind, one of the best EU junglers, and the most solid NA toplaner. With time and a good enviorment I actually think they could be G2 level.

I mean the biggest tragedy is what they did to Danny. Dude had legitimate talent. The best NA ADC prospect we have seen in a very long time.
Yeah you can tell how all three of them still talk so highly of Danny. Like “just give him resources and he’s guaranteed to carry late game”. Even joking about him dying in lane being part of the win condition because of how little it mattered. Watching Danny team fight was something else. His decision making and being unafraid to go in for the kill always made their games enjoyable.
God it was nice to hear them talk about Danny, I miss him being in the league so much
I haven't been a real fan of a team since that iteration of EG
They had such a phenomenal energy

The energy on this one is so good, because they're former teammates.
Former teammates are a great way to cast these. A previous episode had teammates from TL Academy, so it's the same vibes of them splitting up
This is one of the best league content I have been watching lcs this year is so fun.

I wish danny would come back. He truly was the pentakill king in 2022. He has such a massive fanbase wanting him back too.
What makes me sad is what inspired talked about.
Where Danny was like a teamfighting god and he pretty much never lost his team the game by positioning bad.

Finally a toplaner gives Sniper respect. Amazing how knowledgable Impact and Inspired are about the game.
First time tuning into one of these and actually really enjoyed it. Had a lot of valuable info as a Master's player trying to improve at the game. Their emphasis on knowing your win conditions well really changed my perspective on what I need to work on. Great stuff.
Brooo this core should still be together 😢 I feel like they mesh together so well and just needed more time. C9 rn is like 5 Great Players but I don’t feel the chemistry but with the old EG core it feels so right

I noticed this year and last year that Raz doesn’t slow down when speaking to non-native English speakers; he talks way too fast sometimes. Like in his interview with Quid, it felt like Quid only understood so much of what was being asked because the words were spoken too fast for him to pick everything up.

This video was awesome. Only critique I would have is no subtitles for impact. I am not dogging on him but he has an accent and a lisp, on top of not a full understanding of slang. I think his English is amazing for only being in us for a few years. However I must say half the time I can understand him completely and half the time I can rewind 6 times and still not figure out what he’s saying. Just for quality of life anyone with a heavy accent could they have subtitles for them. I’m not cherry picking I think subtitles should be there for inspired too. Sometimes it is so hard to follow at live speed while trying to interpret the accent/ incorrect word choice due to language barrier
