Dhiffushi Maldives - A Beach Lover's Dream!

After the touristic Maafushi, we decided on Dhifushi island.
We start from the airport. The boat is located near the smoking area. There is no exact place from which they go, but wherever there is a free place. The name of the company that transports passengers is called Altec and you should look for that inscription on the boat, instead of the name of the island.
The price per passenger is $25 and the ride takes about 45 minutes.
The day before we booked accommodation at the White sand beach hotel only for the first night. They met us at the boat and took us to a hotel. The hotel is located right next to the bikini beach, but it is already a bit run down and could use a refresh.
After swimming, we go for lunch. We eat chicken fried rice and a sandwich with a unique view of the sea and Meeru resort. From the table, we even saw small sharks swimming in the shallows.
The next day we changed hotels and stayed at Portia hotel, which is also located right next to bikini beach. Tomorrow we leave for the next island. They prepared breakfast for us from the hotel and took us to the local ferry.

Hello, how many days before arrive to Male did you book a ticket ferry ?

Hello, if you are going with public ferry i don’t think you need reservations. Only if you planning to go with the speedboat. Best to tell your hotel to do that for you. They will reserve a place for you and pick you up from the harbour. Public ferry costs 1.5 $ and speedboat 25$

We didn’t book any tickets, just was lucky and there was some free space on the speedboat.
