    I might be uniquely disconnected here, but I have no idea what movie she made or what kind of people are threatening her.

      True, I had no idea indeed! Could not go beyond a few minutes. From the reviews, it's a tacky, pretentious movie. Sad, the interviewer is just pandering to this lady's ego as if she were Satyajit Ray. Is it the famous, sold-out bollywood PR at work for a few bucks?

      U r not unique. They make stupid movies, but they NEED to project they are overcoming some great challenge and threats 😂. And rest of us are left scratching our skulls, as to what epic battle is being fought!

    To be honest .. I'm all for women empowerment and being a woman myself I would always cheer for women needs and desires but our filmmakers need to understand showing women boozing,smoking and women sleeping around with random people is not what empowerment is. Why do we have to portray modernism in such a way .. girls watching it could be second guessing - oh wait ..I'm not drinking and smoking so am I not modern by society standards? Modernism should be from the midlndset.. in Lust stories we have seen a similar concept in Kiara advani portraying a character like that and it showed women desires in the right way. I don't know who is threatening this woman but all I know is that she doesn't make women empowerment films that she claims.

      no one says boozing, smoking ans sleeping around is cool. movies show the world as it is. Men and women smoke and drink. it's not their whole personality.

    • @maulysrivastav
      @maulysrivastav 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Men in the movies have been smoking, drinking and sleeping around with other people for the longest time but that never became a concern. Today, yes women are drinking boozing and have partners of their choice. That's not modernism, that's reality and hence its in movies. These choices are for people to make for themselves. Moral policing only comes into picture as soon as its women doing something which the society doesn't accept.
      Women empowerment starts and at ends at "just let women be, whatever they want to be".
