The 2024 Leapmotor C10 presents two distinct powertrain options: the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and the Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV). In the BEV variant, a robust 170 kW e-motor is paired with a 52.9 kWh battery pack, delivering a commendable range of 410 kilometers. Conversely, the EREV model maintains the same motor performance as the BEV but integrates an additional 1.5-liter engine to serve as a range extender. Accompanied by a 28.4 kWh battery pack, the EREV achieves a range of 210 kilometers. Both variants boast a maximum torque of 320 Nm, ensuring responsive performance across diverse driving conditions.
Regarding range capabilities, the BEV variant impressively achieves a Certified Long-Term Conditions (CLTC) range of 410 kilometers. In contrast, the EREV model offers a slightly reduced CLTC range of 210 kilometers. However, with the supplementary fuel and charge provided by its engine, the EREV can attain a remarkable total range of 1,190 kilometers when fully fueled and charged.
Under the hood, the Leapmotor C10 houses a potent 170 kW e-motor, delivering efficient and dynamic performance in both variants. For the EREV configuration, a 1.5-liter petrol engine operates to charge the 28.4 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery. This battery, in turn, powers the robust 228 bhp rear electric motor, ensuring seamless integration of conventional and electric propulsion systems for enhanced versatility and efficiency.
