Leapmotor officially started pre-sales in Hangzhou on January 10, and the pre-sale price of the extended-range version varies between 151,800 yuan and 181,800 yuan. The official launch of the new car will be held in March this year. Mass deliveries have also started. Positioned as a mid-sized new energy SUV, the new car is produced based on the LEAP3.0 vehicle architecture and is the first global model under LEAP3.0. The new car is offered with extended range/pure electric power systems and is equipped with lidar that will support high-end intelligent assisted driving.
In terms of appearance, Leapmotor C10 continues the family-style design concept, with crossover-type light strip and wide front perimeter shape, trapezoidal heat dissipation vent at the bottom, and folded corners on both sides add a sense of power.
It is available in four basic body colors: sky grey, pearl white, glacier blue and tundra grey.
The sides of the body are smooth, the window frames are equipped with glossy black strips, hidden door handles and 20-inch wheels are used. In terms of body size, its length, width and height are 4739/1900/1680 mm respectively, and its wheelbase is 2825 mm.
The rear of the Leapmotor C10 is equipped with a crossover-type light strip, and the taillight design has been optimized to make it more recognizable; The rear also adds a spoiler and ducktail design; The roof is equipped with a lidar, and the front fenders, outside rearview mirrors and other locations are also equipped with multiple cameras, and the new car will support high-end assisted driving functions.
Equipped with a total of 30 auxiliary driving equipment, including 12 cameras, 5 millimeter wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars and 1 lidar, Leapmotor C10 can support urban/high-speed NAP piloting and can be expanded to the L3 level with an OTA upgrade.
In terms of interior, it adopts a new design that is shorter overall and available in two colours. The new car is equipped with a 14.6-inch 2.5K floating central control display and full LCD instrument cluster. The steering wheel has a double-spoke flat-bottomed design and the physical buttons on it have been optimized to add elegance to the style. The new car retains the pocket-sized shifter and traditional paddles, but it's not overly basic.
In terms of power, it offers two power systems: pure electric version and extended range version. The pure electric version is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 170 kW, equipped with a 69.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, and has a pure electric range of 530 km under CLTC conditions. The extended-range version will use the same 1.5-litre Atkinson four-cylinder range extender as the C01 and C11 extended-range versions and will have a maximum power of 70 kW. Drive motor with maximum power of 170 kW and 28.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery Group, CLTC pure electric cruising range is 210 km, CLTC comprehensive cruising range is 1190 km, CLTC low-charge fuel consumption is 5.2 L/100 km.
It is worth noting that Leapmotor's future new products will use 800-volt platform silicon carbide technology and offer three oil-cooled electric drive technologies. The maximum power of a single motor varies between 170 kilowatts and 250 kilowatts, and the peak torque is 320 Nm and 360 Nm. Future Zero Sports models will also adopt CTC 2.0 (battery body integration) technology and be compatible with 800V/4C supercharging technology. 10 minutes of charging will increase the range by 200 kilometers.
