I missed week 23 (wisdom tooth removal) but it feels so good to be back at it. Even with a week missing, this feels right on track 🤩

How do I prevent coning? On the floor arm raises my stomach kept coning so I had to stop

Hi Erica, thanks for the question! The best way to avoid coning is to make sure you're activating your deep abdominal muscles. I talk a little bit about how to do this in the 'Exercises to prevent abdominal separation' video (th-cam.com/video/En40vJi2KvI/w-d-xo.html).
Coning is generally an indication that the load is too high, or the deep abdominals are not activated. When it happens, I'd recommend taking the exercise down a notch e.g. just holding a kneeling plank and concentrating on bringing up the belly, and not doing any arm raises. Or try a few arm raises and get in a few really good reps with proper form, and then take down the intensity for the rest of the exercise.
As the belly gets bigger it may get a bit more difficult, but the good news is that even low-intensity modifications will still be doing something to better your core strength!
I hope this helps, but did you have any other questions?

Hello again🤰 this one really gave me sweat lol. I would think that as I do workouts, workouts would be getting easier but probably because of getting heavier I sweat more and they get harder on me. Still I do complete the entire workout. One more thing, my body shakes when I do the workouts I cannot really tell samething is happening to you from the video. Did ur body shake too? Especially my upper abdomens to be certain.

I remember feeling like I was getting stronger as I worked out, but exercise was still hard! I try not to breathe too heavily in the videos, but I was definitely sweating after each workout 😅 My body would shake maybe towards the end of a hard set, but it steadily got better as I gained strength. The core will be working quite hard to stabilise you so some shaking is okay, just make sure that you keep good form and rest when you need to!

Good to hear it's in a good way! Feel free to slow the moves down slightly to make the workout a bit easier too :D
