I’d be SO much more likely to get another 3 if ventilated seats were available. As the top trims approach $40K, I think this is a reasonable request. Love the 3 otherwise though. I’ve had 2 of them, driven them hundreds of thousands of miles, and never a problem while being very fun to drive.
@@archiepezek At least the Carbon Edition still has the 8-speaker system but feels like a lot has been downgraded for this year's models. Are there new features/improvements that make up for these changes at least?
@@nicksaunders8962 I believe so, but I'm not sure what changes were made to offset the cost of the stereo change. But to me, my stereo system means more than some other change they might have made. I have the 8-speaker system in my 2023 hatchback and it sounds decent, so I'm not disappointed.
Mazda 3 has own two major awards. I think, mazda 3 has reached it's pinnacle. There's not much to change and improve. I had the 4th gen. mazda 3 2021 GT premium with manual transmission. It's pretty much the same, except for two things: cylinder deactivation and I-stop. I don't have those. Thank God, I got the 2021. 2022 and onwards have those! Sorry, but I dread cylinder deac and the I-stop!
They’re primarily designed as vehicles for the driver. Affordable, fun to drive, and nice styling. There’s a lot of cost cutting decisions made if it doesn’t benefit the driver
Nope, not in the 2025s either. It's probably gone for good now unfortunatly, but it is possible to rig it up yourself if your handy. There are tutorials out there and the plastic molding inside the console already has the circular cut out to accommodate the 12v socket.
Such a sharp car. I'm going to be in the market for a new car within the next month or so. It was a toss up between a turbo 3 and a turbo cx50. I'm gonna go cx50 just for the size. With a kid and 2 dogs it seems to make more sense. Love the brand and am looking forward to getting something new.
@@peterschleh9382- incorrect, unfortunately. Not available for several more years in THIS model. The new hybrid version will ONLY be available in late ‘24 on the CX-50 model, not the 3 hatchback (or sedan or the CX-30 either, sadly). That’s a huge mistake in the opinion of most automotive professionals. A smaller vehicle like this 3 would be an IDEAL competitor to the Toyota Prius or Corolla or Corolla Cross. 😢
@someguygg It is noticeable to me but not obnoxiously so. When it kicks in, I can feel a very slight vibration in the vehicle. I've noticed cylinder deactivation occurs mainly while at a steady throttle between 1.5 to 1.75K RPM.
8:38, 9:24, you could see how bad read view is. Not only C pillar block lot view, but alos back window is so small and make bad view. Those may cause safety due to back view is blocked. You'd better sit in hatch back such as Mazda 3 Hatchback, or Toyota corolla Hatchback, to compare this back view.

Thankful for my 2023🎉
It's a shame that the Carbon Edition doesn't have the Bose sound system like it used to.
It's criminal not to include it when u already have the leather and sunroof
Really does suck they wouldn't include it! Does anyone know why they would leave it out this year?
@@nicksaunders8962 Probably to cut costs. I noticed the models that had an 8-speaker system before this year now have only the 6-speaker stereo.

Wish I could afford this car, I will have to be content with my 07 Mazda 6 for now
Good Review, please make a video on a Mazda 3 w/6 speed manual? Whenever, you have one in stock.
Please Mazda no more piano black plastic, it's a magnet for scratches
Canada does not have it, sadly US model keeps using it!
Why don’t mazda3s have air vents or even usbs for rear seats? There’s nothing there even for turbo premium plus trims

PIANO BLACK INTERIOR!!!???? AHHHHHHH
Yes…”handle with care” 😂
i wonder how those cx90 and 70's are selling cause i see a lot of them on the lots and only 2 cx90's on the road for the last 2 years.
Nice
Did they bring back the 12V socket under the arm rest? A friend that bought a 24 told me his didn't have one just had the cover but it was empty.

Same mine missing

Go with the larger vehicle with 2 kids and a dog
Cant decide this or suv cx30
It includes Alexa??
Is Mazda ever going to offer a Hybrid option for this vehicle?
Yes, last I heard some time ago, Oct 2024, through a business agreement, the Rav4 hybrid engine and transmission. Good luck trying to buy one.

this is still the 2024 model the 2025 has vents in the back
Does this have the cylinder deactivation in it?
Non-turbo has it, it works well, hard to notice when it's on other than checking the info.

I would love to see AWD with Manual Transmission...Mazda needs to step it up! Oh yeah..black tire rims is getting old!
No tailgate unfortunately. You gotta muscle pull the trunk door to close

It's really not bad at all. I've had no visibility issues in our 2024
Cylinder deactivation stinks but there isn’t the awful Istop like the 50, 90 & 70..
Not the 6!
It's not the 6...that's the problem.
Torsion beam? Nah i’m good.
it would look prettier with fog led lights. also with interior peripheral lighting and door warning light (didnt see)
SO...IOW....there is nothing new on the 2025 .....Overdue to an all new Mazda 3
“IOW”?? 😮
I am expecting some changes, it looks exactly 2024 model. I doubt this is 2025.
It’s exactly the same. A bit disappointing. Nothing new to see here
@@alexanderg117 In other words
Awful color, and black wheels suck. Good car otherwise though - but it's overdue for a real update.
