Thanks. Yeah it’s views really, the more ads the more money you get per 1,000 views. My best month ever was when I only had 2,000 subscribers funnily enough.
You do make me laugh with the photos for your videos 🤣. The one before this you looked like one of Mr Putin’s minders 😳! Fingers crossed that the channel gets to where you want it to be, and that you get sufficient job satisfaction from it. It’s such a lot of work to get a good income from, but at least you can devote a proper amount of time to it if it’s your job full time. 👍

Really enlightening -- I think your presentation is excellent and you cover interesting motoring topics. I have no problem with promotions as long as they're not too contentious or obviously dodgy -- I don't mind in the least if they're for legitimate services (HPI checks, etc.) but you're right to avoid cryptocurrency and other modern day snake-oil.
So, on reflection and I'm certainly glad I came across you're channel, do you think the peaks co-inside with the better content? Could it be a bit like mining for oil. 🤔
Funnily enough, my best ever performing video is the one I'm probably most proud of, 2 and 3 best performers were spur of the moment things - nothing special whatsoever in any way. Also, worth nothign that I can see that 2 and 3 appeal to an older audience than some of my videos. Whenever you think a video will do really well it often tanks and sometimes the opposite can be true. It's like trying to wrestle a jelly at times. The key is putting out content consistently and rolling with the punches.
You get paid monthly, and yes, earnings are like any other earnings, you either need to do self assesment if youre doing it as a sole trader, or company accounts if you're doing it as a LTD company.
