This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 7 months ago about self development. Now I have 722 subs and > 200 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my TH-cam channel about holistic health. Somewhere around 15k or so is when I started to seriously CONSIDER it (key word is consider haha). I still make significantly more money outside of TH-cam than from my channel, but I'm able to dedicate more time now to it than ever before 🙂.

Can you earn ad revenue for ANY subject? I thought of creating a channel and posting my weird insect videos, but I'm not sure if there would be ad revenue for that. LOL
Definitely! Typically the only things that can't make money is content deemed "inappropriate", copyrighted music, and things of that nature. That being said, you do have to be accepted into the TH-cam partner program before you can earn any money.
There are chemical companies with full marketing teams throwing cash around like it's paper. Pest Control is a huge Industry. Keep uploading those bug videos.

I have a friend who has a TH-cam Channel with 22,000 subscribers, but his channel isn't eligible for monetization. Any advice on how to convert those subscribers into actual view hours so he can monetize the channel?
@@jameswilliams3581 because part of the eligibility requirements are that his channel needs to have 3000 view hours within the last year, or something like 10,000,000 shorts views within the past few months. I think he said he has 45 view hours and 64,000 shorts views. It seems he has a good subscriber count, but that’s not converting into views, or viewing hours.

That depends on your target audience. Target US/UK audience. Don't talk in Indian accent if your channel needs voice. Or make a faceless voiceless channel
