    Hi Melina, thank you so much for the tip to leave a small margin around the printed object when fussy cutting. I have been watching paper craft videos A LOT for the past 2 1/2 years and I have not been aware of anyone else saying this. My fussy cutting was medium good at best. Since I saw this video, I am plowing through my fussy cutting with excellent results! Thank you so much for saying that. Love the butterfly disc charms. Dritz is an old "notions" company, highly respected. I have some of their bulb clips, too. I am a subscriber and always leave a like. So easy to do, costs the viewer nothing. I wish more people would get in the habit. A lot of work, time and effort go into your videos. To give a thumbs up is an easy way to say, "thank you". Again, thanks so much!

    Oh but I thought the cardstock and florals looked awesome. Partial to the cardstock? At least online. BUT it turned out awesome and coordinated (of course) w the flutterbys! Beautiful flutterbys. (I have pretty much always shifted letters in syllables. Gets me in deep trouble every now and again! ) I have not been watching any JJ vids, ADR-ain’t doin’ right. Was nice to make a shift back to watching! Thank you.

    I love these charms! But is there some reason you can't use the circle punches? Would they not work with the collaging?

    • @MelinaPylant
      @MelinaPylant  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have enough wrist strength to get a punch through layers of collage. Some punches wouldn't work on thick spots of the master board either.

    do you have circle punches i have many no way could i make a circle like you did i love this project thank you

    • @MelinaPylant
      @MelinaPylant  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do, but not enough elbow grease to apply the amount of pressure that would be needed to punch through that thick master board. Maybe if the base would have been copy paper, but not that thick card stock. I've also tried the punches on master board and ended up with messes I had to clean up around the edges of the shapes because the punch tore my collage. Cutting my shapes out by hand works better for me and I get a lot more pieces out of a master board when cutting out by hand. So a lot less waste of my precious collage. :)

    very fun to watch the process😍 i think turning over the completed master board to cut the circles would be impotant (esp for me). otherwise i would be trying to cut circles based on the designs of the paper on the master board, and that sort of defeats the purpose. thanks for showing/sharing and thanks also to Miss BettyAnn for the beauty-ful 🦋🦋🦋🦋❣️

Just recently I was making envelopes, took scraps of thread, strips, and torn pieces to make clusters for the flaps. So stinking cute. I use my strips of paper for paper beads also. Love crafting with paper. Thank you for all the ideas!

    These are beautiful!! So many uses and ideas you can use them for. They remind me of making the tickets that you use with scraps. Love 💘 those tickets, too. Awesome!
