Che's story telling skill is JUST like mine. I'll have a great ass story to tell but ruin it because of the structure! Jost totally fixed it and put it in order.
Yeah his punch line would've been "I took a taxi and realized I was still in NYC" but in order for that to be a punch line he actually have to set up the story, which he didn't, in fact, failed miserably. Jost explained it better. But feel free to feel however you want to feel.
