I LOVE that it took Michael Che actually getting into a cab, LEAVING THE AIRPORT and seeing the skyline in which he LIVES... before he realized he wasn't in Cleveland.
It makes me laugh the way they tell their stories like a married couple. 😂 the way Colin helps Che clarify details of his story and Che just going along with it 😅
@@boardaspen But it has to be secretly recorded. Or, record their every minute together for a month or 5. Then try to narrow it down to the best 2 hours and you have a box office smash. Yeah. Even I told myself there is a 30 part miniseries. 8 hours for each series. Then the spin-off, then the prequel, then... Love these guys!❤
I look forward to these 2 every Saturday night. Their friendship & chemistry is 2nd to none!! My favorite is at the end of the year when they have each other tell jokes the other wrote for them 😂😂😂
That was great! I don't think Weekend Update is the best format to show Che's humor. I like being able to hear him tell stories. He and Jost have such a great dynamic, especially in a more casual setting like this.
i'm still pissed they removed the clip of them talking about OJ Simpson getting out of prison where Colin said "I think it'll be really interesting if he killed again" and Che said "pfft... what do you mean killed *again*?" - it was perfect.
The funniest part of the jokes about Colin Jost bullying Michael Che is can ANYONE imagine Che getting knocked down by Jost?? Like if that happened I actually would laugh because Che looks solid and while Jost doesn't look weak, he does NOT look stronger than Che.
@@unanuevapecula His going public with it does not affect the fact that I would still be interested to see an interview with her on the subject. Could be good. Could be *fantastic*
Love Colin's story on pot paranoia. I stopped smoking Marijuana at 16 yo because of the extreme paranoia. I could so see me doing what he did. Made me laugh so hard. Truth!
@@Look_At_My_Picture. it can be but if you’re doing it while your brain is underdeveloped or if you do it too much it can still have negative effects (and also some people just react badly to it)
Those guys are brilliant, I love watching them on snl, they are so funny, on the spot and yet with a kindly look (they are like Seth:)). This kind of comedy is so relaxing I wish we had some in France too.. Thanks for everything (but mostly for the laught).
One of the best Weekend Update teams ever! I also love That Damn Michael Che, and it's exciting to know that he lives not that far away! (No. I won't be "trying to visit." 🤣🤣 It's just neat!)
Love all 3 men!!! They are all comedy geniuses!!! My favorite line was "Othello?" I may not have a pipe or a beard, but this High School English teacher lost it at that! 😂
Omg when does SNL start again? I LOVE these two together. Won't be the same without Pete though. Also, that debate kid will grow up to marry Scarlett Johansen.
@@kingayy9267 Yeah... they said goodbye to him at the end of last season. He's trying to be a serious, but still comedic, actor. He's in Bodies Bodies Bodies and another movie I forget the name of. Hopefully he also does more stand up.
I am so very confused about the story about Michael Che and the plane....like why did the plane take off and land again still in NY and then why would they let people off of the plane?? Or was it something super weird like it went from Kennedy to La Guardia or something strange like that??
As chronicled in Tom Wolfe's The Right Stuff, "screw the pooch" was coined by the Mercury astronauts in reference to Gus Grissom's alleged mistake in blowing the explosive hatch bolts prematurely.
Fascinating. John Rawlings was one of two roommates who were architecture students. In the spring of 1950 it was time for his project to complete the semester. He procrastinated. Apparently all architecture students do. He was going to be late even starting his charrette. So to be helpful I said the following: JACK: You’re late, John, you’re fouling up. You are fucking the dog. JOHN: Really, you are so vulgar and coarse, I just don’t want to hear it. JACK: You’re still late. Is this better? You are screwing the pooch. JOHN: (shrill laughter) Rawlings, May explained, did manage to finish the project and graduate, enlisting in the Air Force and serving at Wright-Patterson Air Force base. There, he worked on designing early prototypes of space suits that were used on the chimpanzees to be launched into space in advance of NASA’s manned missions. So when May saw The Right Stuff in 1983 and heard “screw the pooch,” he was convinced that his old college pal Rawlings had been the one to introduce it to the space program. Man, a Dr for a mom , all the sink success, che as a friend and married to Scarlett Johansson? Must be nice to have such life. My parents were horrible and I got screwed in the lottery of life.
I LOVE that it took Michael Che actually getting into a cab, LEAVING THE AIRPORT and seeing the skyline in which he LIVES... before he realized he wasn't in Cleveland.
New Yorkers, man
Tom Selleck in "Mr. Baseball" about Tokyo: "Looks like Cleveland, except I can’t read the street signs,” ;-P
He didn't explain why it U-turned tho right? Any ideas why
It makes me laugh the way they tell their stories like a married couple. 😂 the way Colin helps Che clarify details of his story and Che just going along with it 😅
Colin is that guy that always chooses dare in truth or dare. A good sport.
Che & Jost will forever be remembered for " Your going to get me killed"
😂😂😂🙌🏻🙌🏼🙌🏽🙌🏾🙌🏿
And "nailed it".
Che's constant efforts to get Jost either canceled or killed is weirdly heartwarming
Those two should make a buddy movie together. The possibilities are endless. The Odd Couple 2.0
But an unscripted one! Like just follow them around the SNL studio for a month and just use the raw footage.
@@boardaspen But it has to be secretly recorded. Or, record their every minute together for a month or 5. Then try to narrow it down to the best 2 hours and you have a box office smash. Yeah. Buddy cop movies about to make a comeback!
Buddy movie done like Blair Witch with the scenes being scripted but the actors (Che and Jost) not knowing before hand
Jost: You are gonna get me killed!
Che: maybe you should stop pushing me down. 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Jost telling jokes Che wrote for him is the funniest thing on tv nowadays.
It is so messed up. The April's fools episode is always a classic
That is so true
Absolutely love the chemistry and love between these two!
the pot cookie story is EPIC. I first heard it in Colin's book and I die laughing every time I hear it.
Collin 's life is like a SNL sketch 😂
Omg “viagra Al dente” that’s a genius joke.

That's the best! 🤣🤣
💯
Nah! Brew 😎🤙
Colin Jost debating as a kid looks and sounds like Young Sheldon.
Yep, he actually did!
That "Nah" shirt is amazing!
This is easily one of the funniest things I’ve ever watched

His show is great!
Well they’re best friends IRL so that’s why.
I REALLY want a day drinking episode with these 3
I predict Colin wouldn’t survive that..
Same, what a kick that would be
i'm still pissed they removed the clip of them talking about OJ Simpson getting out of prison where Colin said "I think it'll be really interesting if he killed again" and Che said "pfft... what do you mean killed *again*?" - it was perfect.
Yeah it's so weird that OJ humor is still such a hot button issue on SNL. Norm McDonald got fired over it years ago and now pulling this clip?
The best is when they write jokes for each other on Update.
The funniest part of the jokes about Colin Jost bullying Michael Che is can ANYONE imagine Che getting knocked down by Jost?? Like if that happened I actually would laugh because Che looks solid and while Jost doesn't look weak, he does NOT look stronger than Che.
First thing I see is Che's shirt!! Amazing!! lol "Nah" - Rosa Parks 🤣🤣
Protect these two at all costs. Their back and forward is absolute gold!
You three great comics are my preservation these days! I can’t thank you enough 😊!
The fact Jost bagged on of the world's most beautiful women is insane. You know he walks around like "y'all can't tell me NOTHING"
I would have loved to be in the room when che saw the video of colin when he was a kid. That would have been golden..LMAO
Love who he always say: You gonna get me murdered/killed..
I'm still amazed that Colin went public with that story about his paranoia on pot and him calling his parents! At age 30, calling his parents! LMFAO
Yeah, id die with that one a complete secret
Better he does it than the girl 'exposing' him on twitter and getting paid to do interviews.

Che and Jost always look like they're dressed for entirely different occasions
Good point. So true.
That Viagra bit had me waking up neighbors laughing so hard!
And they finally did it on SNL!! It was pretty funny
These guys are one of the main reasons I watch SNL 👍💯🔥
This and the opening dialogue.
I gave up on all the other SNL and just watch weekend update on youtube! ADD Seth Meyers and do something. #SNL please
Haha, a suit on top and jeans on the bottom is literally the business outfit in the Netherlands.
I watched this during dinner and I almost choked. So funny
I'm pretty sure my mother wrote Colin Jost's childhood speech.
Great chemistry between these 2. The new Abbott and Costello

They are the best 👌🏾
I've been listening to Weekend update since the 70's but they take it to another level!
2:54 - That kid grew up and married Scarlett Johansson!
They’re absolutely carrying snl.
Love them! Keep them FOREVER!!
I did laugh at the Othello joke, and I am holding a pipe. However, it is not a tobacco pipe.

Colin laughing at the Punchable Face comment while he shuts the light off each night with Scarlett Johansson.....he's doing ok. lol
The whole Jeopardy thing is hilarious.
I want to hang out with these 3, kind of a lot.

I love Seth! Great video.
Jost on that terrible Tom and Jerry movie is one of my favourite bits.
I love Seth’s laugh.

Michel Che dresses like a third grader that found $500 on the street.
Now I'm concerned for Colin's safety.
Che is awesome and naturally funny. He’s a big guy OR Jost is a small guy
They are our generations Cheech and Chong
😂😂love these two guys
I love them, but never realized how small Colin was 🤣
Man i wish i had the swagger that Michael che has!
Oh come on, Che would've been going "great idea buddy" on Colin playing a Black girl …
I'm just suprised he didn't suggest it himself for Colin.

Prob bad passengers.
All Che has to do is watch the movie _The Right Stuff_ and then he’ll know the origin of the phrase “Screw the Pooch”
I love these two so much!
I hope one day these two do a drunken history together.
The greatest comedy duo since Abbot and Costello!
Two of the cutiest guys ever.❤❤❤❤. Love their snl time togethe , we need the laughs, thank you guys 💋💋💋💋
Young Colin 😂😂😂🙌🏼
