  • I didn't do my research before buying a Bosch RA1171 router table and my Dewalt DW610 router doesn't mount to it. From what I can find the replacement plate either was never made and/or discontinued but either way I wasn't looking to spend more money. I decided to drill out new holes and it didn't turn out too bad.

    Thanks for the video, gave me the valor i required to drill my new router table. My router is compatible but Bosch didnt put the Adjustment hole for the Ryobi R1631k. Keep the good work.

    Just unboxed and assembled this table yesterday and discovered no holes for my router...totally disappointed. I am anxious to get to the shop and give this a try. Thank you so much!

    Hi, My son and I did the same thing but we did note that it took a little longer than we expected as we were trying to be very accurate. The router is very old so was hard to find any plate. This was the best option.

    My Bosch router and Craftsman tablesaw sat unused for a year and last month I discovered they don't match as well. Thanks for your video it gave me some confidence to just drill new holes on the table.

    thanks for sharing this, i bought this table because i can mount the table in the right wing of my table saw easily. it says its compatible with the hitachi M12VC, it turns out my hitachi is the M12V... i guess theres a big difference. After watching your video i now feel confident in modifying the table to mount my m12v.

    Thanks for the video! I was actually thinking of buying another router that would fit, like I'm made of money! This is much better. One last thing - use eye protection!!

    The alternative if you've got an old plunge rRuter you want to fit permanently is to find holes in the table plate that line up with solid metal on the router base plate. Drill the router base plate and save adding more holes to the table plate. Cheap mini scissor lift can be added for height adjustment inside the cabinet.

    Thanks! Your video may help me with a similar situation. My router is not listed for the router table I have (even though they are both the same brand). This video may save the day.

    Got Bosch RA1171 router table and I am using a Dewalt router 618 PK . Three screws on the router match a factory holes on the table and it is just perfectly laid out.

      Hope it helped. I figured I wouldn't be the only person with the problem.

    Yeah, I'm doing the same thing for a Fein RT-1800. I think I will get some thin plexiglass and make a template which includes the centerpoint of the router.

    I just bought the table but not sure if it will work with my Ryobi router, planning on getting the MRC23EVSK 2.3 HP Electronic Modular Router System but can’t find documentation if it will fit.

    Are you able to adjust the bit height from the table top or do you have to adjust it using the router controls below the table?

    • @adampeterson343
      @adampeterson343 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The height would all be controlled by the base that comes with your router

    Newsflash, it does not work with the two Dewalt routers, DW616 and DW618, listed in the "Chart 1" in the book that comes with the table.
