I understand Pat's point about Eli never being in MVP consideration but his draft mate Roethlisberger was never the best of the best and never received any MVP consideration but everyone says he's a sure fire HOFamer.

Ben was a Top 5 to 7 QB consistently when he played. What? He also went to the playoffs more often and performed.

Eli was not as proficient a QB in the regular season as 2 time NFL MVP Kurt Warner. Eli was more durable and has one more Super Bowl win than Kurt, who was often injured.

Definitely lost me at Eli vs Kurt Warner, no comparison at all, same with Warren Moon. Joke to compare Eli to either of those two.

Yes, Phil Simms would've 100% been in the Hall of Fame if he quaterbacked the Giants to that second Super Bowl against the Bills. But the difference between Eli and Phil is, Eli was NEVER injured but was available every Sunday for his team. Just think about some of the other players who were on their way to a Hall of Fame career, but was cut short because of injury like Bo Jackson and Andrew Luck who had to retire early because his body couldn't take the rigors of the NFL. No, Eli wasn't the greatest quarterback of his generation, but isn't the best ability is availability? And Eli answer the bell every Sunday for his team and put them over the top when they needed him the most. I bet Drew Brees would trade career accomplishments and stats with Eli.

Troy aikman shouldn't be in the hall of fame either he threw 5 interceptions against the Giants 1 game and was a passenger on championship teams carried by a top defense and emmitt Smith and oh yeah he was 0-11 in a season and 167 tds and 143 ints is bad any way you slice it don't let the facts get in your way guys

You know Eli will eventually get in but it’s not a lock by any means. I got run out of a web site because I questioned Eli’s ability the last 4/5 years of his career. People went nuts when a showed the stats. It’s math. Doesn’t lie

Yeah it definitely seems like Gary Meyers has more confidence in Daniel Jones than he does Dak Prescott. And I bet if Jones had the same exact stats as Prescott, they'd be saying he's better than Patrick mahomes lol.

A statue QB makes a line look worse. Before Eli became a checkdown king his best quality was his willingness to throw deep around a player, but not the best location mainly.

Gary said the Giants are one good draft away from being a playoff contender. I believe this view comes up a little short. If Daniel Jones balls out this year, then yes, what he said is correct. But if the Giants cut Jones and draft a rookie QB, then no, they probably won't be a playoff bound team next seasson. I say this because rookie QB's rarely make the playoffs and because the Giants probably will need to trade away some draft capital to move up in the draft to get thier next QB, which means they will miss out on filling other positions of need. The bottom line about them being a playoff contender next year: it's a function of what they do with Daniel Jones.

The Hall of Fame is reserved for the visibly dominant talents, not the stat gatherers or moment achievers.
If Joe Flacco wins a second ring is he a HOF QB?

Myers is a Cowboys guy at heart and Pat is an Eagles guy why the hell can't the Giants get better people covering the team like Patty

Eli deserves the Ring Of Honor and his jersey retired. I don’t care what stats say, there’s a story behind the numbers.
Based off how he played he is not a Hall of Fame QB. Two good runs that easy could’ve ended differently than him not messing it up. Three total TDs in 2 SB games.
