Pat, ask your questions from the back of the room, out of Daboll's reach. Just kidding, but I completely disagree with people who say that you should not ask certain questions. You have access that the average fan doesn't, and we really want those questions in the air.

Pat, one of the reasons i follow your channel is because you are not only very knowledgeable, not a Homer, but a compassionate person. For example, what you said today about DJ and how he feels this season. That being established, I am kinda with MM (who commented above)asking about Daboll’s job security or DJ’s injury clause. I don’t know if it’s offside as he claims, but it appears to be low hanging fruit and perhaps designed to embarrass. I understand it’s NYC media and it’s all fair game- but I think you’re different than those guys ( e.g., Adam Schefter: SAS.) Other than that, I really enjoy your work and interviews with Bennie are great. Bring back Justin Pugh when you can and get his take on our new O line- looking much better than last season!!

Remember when Dabs challenged an unchallengeable call? He needs to worry about his own competence not staring at reporters. Pat will be here long after Dabs is gone.

Pat if you’re gonna put a spotlight on Dabol and his game mgt and decision making u need to also do a show focusing on Joe Shoens ineptitude so far in building a cohesive competitive team for Dabol. So far he’s shown he can’t draft well and can’t manage a salary cap- there is plenty blame to go around, but it all starts at the head of the snake and that is Joe Shoen is ultimately responsible for this mess. I agree with a lot of your point of views, but when you ask that question to Dabol about his job security you knew full well you were gonna get that reaction and you would get a lot of attention. It’s 2 games in - maybe you were hasty and asking that pointed question so early. I do understand it’s been three years, but it’s just the beginning of the season and we’re already looking for blood. Everybody’s looking for the bad guy. Maybe you might have a little empathy for Dabol since he’s in an unwinnable situation that he was put in by his GM and his idiot owner.

You are also the journalist who asked DJ about the injury clause in his contract? That line of inquiry after a tough loss is irresponsible on so many levels. It totally denigrates the hard work by DJ to get on the field. It's disrespectful, and I say this as a former QB and journalist. What the heck, Pat? Smirk all you want, but you're reducing your own credibility as a journalist. Not having an extra kicker, defense between the twenty yard lines, that's fair game. But inquiries about job security and protective contract clauses will mutilate your relationship with the team you are assigned to cover. If I was the sports editor of "The Snooze", you'd be reassigned so fast your head would spin.

When a coach tells you to stop coaching or asking feisty questions, tell the coach you will stop when they START coaching or when the don't give you reasons to ask tough questions.

Hey man! You have a job to do, to get answers for some of the fans interested in what’s going on? Bottom line is Daboll isn’t getting it done. Other coaches in his place would have probably achieved winning results. He’s mismanaging a billion dollar franchise so it’s only just to ask him when his ineptitude should lead to his firing? If he actually knew how to fix things, it would have been fixed by now. As it stands, he admits at least 20 times every post-game that he doesn’t know what he’s seeing, doesn’t know what’s going on, doesn’t know the status of anything when he faces the press? He always doesn’t know anything until he watches the tape. Doesn’t know anything about his players until he talks to doctors the next day? He says he’s not a doctor, but he’s not even a good HC because he’s not capable of handling the media, which is part of the job! In any other manager position, if you constantly answered you don’t know or don’t have any answers until you saw tape, you’d be fired! He’s not experienced enough to handle being an HC.

I really want the Giants to turn it around. But, honestly, I've been looking sideways at Brian Daboll since the middle of the 22 season because the team always showed up flat for the first half of their games, even the ones they came back to win. It was always a matter of a second half adjustment. In 23, they pretty much showed unprepared throughout their games. And his sideline blowups prove he's not in control.

Why do the Giants keep hiring first-time head coaches? Maybe it's time for someone with experience.

Giants performance much improved. O-Line, DJ, Malik, Phillips, Singletary, Wan'dale, Red Zone D all effective. Good D pressure on Daniels. This one is on the coaching, but it's fixable. Secondary zone way too loose. Run game D had major leakage. Backup kicker should have been on the roster. Giants are a very young team & they played much better than the week before. Looking forward to next week in Cleveland.
