Hey C.B. If you're having problems with the windshield wipers on the 2000 Blazer, same fix as the S10 you mentioned back in June. I've only have seen disc brakes where the inside pad wears if the caliper is stuck on the pins there's a clear brake lube AC DELCO 10-4019, that you can use on the pins the back of the pads and where the caliper rubs the mounting bracket. Let me ask, is that knife one of those WDO knives? You know, Wide Deep and Often.. Enjoy your videos

That rag does alot of different things and all that ya mentioned are true...especially the sweat because my head sweats alot and the beads of sweat running down my bald head feel like worms crawling on me...something I don't even notice with my rag on
I think the main issue with the DEWALT and the tires was you were using a 3/8 impact to do a 1/2 impact job. Although it can be capable of doing it you’re gonna wear out the tool a lot faster that way

Most diy mechanics don't know that grinding the rust out of the bracket (under the stainless clip) either with a cut off wheel or file is key. That outside pad get stuck in the bracket. Even if I'm just replacing pads I always take bracket off and file and or grind the rust. Id the boots on the pins are torn that will also cause 1 pad to wear. I'm assuming though based on you replacing the inside pad multiple times one of these are your issue
Seems like if that was the issue it wouldn't have always been that way...but even the very first time I looked at the rear brakes when it got it's first set of new tires there was almost no wear on the outer pad. Brakes have always worked good so it's not something I worry about
@@NBSWELDING You said you ahve put 4 pads inside and not changed the outside pad. If you never removed the caliper bracket you dont know if that outside pad is siezed. Being able to change parts and understanding what you are doing are not the same thing.

I'm sure you've thought of this but if they make an adapter for DeWalt batteries to makita, that 20V, 5Ah DeWalt battery might bring that 5" makita grinder to life.
I actually hadn't thought of that...but considering my best Makita batteries don't make it run satisfactory I'd assume it's the grinder that socks nit the power source

If the caliper side pad is wearing out way before the outer pad and the caliper slides are all greased & functioning PROPERLY than it is probably the rubber hose itself that is the problem.
