I have hip savage 21, I picked up at yard sale. It sat in storage at my house for about 5 years. I finally got around to working on it. Motor locked up hard. Tried after run in block to free it up .no go. Used wd 40 and blow-dryer. To free up
Motor was new , never broke in. Fast truck now
Hey my dude, I am super happy to hear that you were able to get an old Nitro running great again. Almost always they are fully restorable, and in the worst scenario you could easily get replacement parts and keep having fun. See you on the next one Nitro gang.
@@hybrid32494 I have one I can not get running. It's my dad's nitro from 1978. Running fox motor with helicopter head.any idea on where I can get glow plugs. Dad ran the royal piss out of it . Blew the head completely off motor. He did repair it. But no go

100% right my dude!! This is a pretty old model here too, one of the very first Savage X 4.6 models, and it still runs well with all original equipment. It outlives many KIAs at this point, haha.

I have an old savage x. Looking forward to getting it adjusted right. Can't find starting point adjustments anywhere. Someone has got it outta whack bad. Just got new spur and clutch in it too.

The only thing that I don't like is plastic spur gears but I love all nitro babies
you got a point there my dude! It does have a plastic spur, but the upside is the plastic is quieter when running when compared to metal. Personally I've never in my life striped a Savage plastic spur. See you on the next one!! NitroGang!..

I know it’s getting old now but I love the savages there durability is amazing but I fitted my 3speed transmition with the reverse module and I started it up once with it on and it stripped the vests inside

Hey my dude what’s up, thanks for checking out another awesome Nitro video. This may not be a new Savage but you still cannot kill it because it will never die, the two speed is terrific and even wheelies, and this is all on the fully stocked original drive train.
I wanna fix my savage up. but my one way bearing has gotten oil or some in it. so it don't work. any vids on how to fix?
