open same file with google sheet then save and again open that google sheet file with excel will remove password altemately. open pdf enter password and then print save as pdf will remove password and save as same pdfwithout password. .

Idk if this is still helpful for you since it is late but maybe it is helpful for others If your file that you want to unprotect is .xls Open it and click file and save as Excel Workbook (.xlsx) Then just use this excel and not the old one ( the .xls one) And continue the video!
@@Topaholic thanks , i was unable to unprotect the .xls sheet which was macros enabled so i changed the file to xlsm first and then to zip and it worked for me

Hello, I didn't see the xml folder. I only see [6]Data spaces, Encryptedpackage and Encryptioninfo documents when I changed the xlsx to zip.

When I do this in Excel on my mac, the file is corrupt "The workbook cannot be opened or repaired by Microsoft Excel because it is corrupt."

If your file that you want to unprotect is .xls
Open it and click file and save as Excel Workbook (.xlsx)
Then just use this excel and not the old one ( the .xls one)
And continue the video!

it doesnt work for me, as i am trying to delete the password text in XML Code, but it is also protected. it is not allowing me to delete.
Follow the exact process, it will work.
